We were planning to eat in a different place near by,but the waitress skillfully lured us. The place inside looked a bit sketchy, but we thought: “why don’t give a shot?” :) There were some locals and tourists already eating so that was a good sign. The tables and menus were sticky. We ordered drinks and tripas o porto and a dish with beans with rice. Waitress brought apeetizers which seemed to be cooked in the microwave. Main food was edible, but nothing special. The food looked homemade. After wanting to pay for the food, waitress arrived with desserts, that were later added to the final check. It was fried bread with sugar/cinnamon. It was initially not understandable that we would need to pay for it. Waitress spoke only portuguese so it was difficult with communication. In the end she didn’t bring a check ,but only showed a number on calculator. The place itself raised questions about hygiene and quality. Also the price for all of this wasn’t appropriate, for this amount of money we could eat in Porto centre with much more tastier food. Interesting experience...

After we asked for the bill, the waitress brought a piece of paper with numbers without naming the dishes. Have you ever paid 40 euros in a...
