Dom Brasas — Restaurant in Porto

WARNING: the food they put on your table as you walk in, ya know the little “free” pre-meal snacks (they only did it to us throughout the evening which is really manipulative and clearly directed at people that are not local) is going to cost you. THOSE ARE NOT FREE. You will be charged.

I wanted to leave a good review but with this type of strategy, just seems like a dishonest approach. You will also be charged for your to-go materials too if you have leftovers.

Disclosure of these fees would have been the honest route.

Good casual place. Not overly fancy, standard grill (for Portugal, not your typical US/UK upscale grill but definitely not average either). The food was better than most grills in Porto, and service was very good. Not super crowded, not empty either, space could be larger but in this residential area it's standard. El peor trato recibido nunca en un restaurante de Portugal. Restaurante churrasqueria, llegamos teniendo yo una hipoglucemia y teniendo en cuenta el tipo de restaurante y lo vacío que estaba, no esperamos a que nos dieran mesa y nos sentamos junto a otras dos mesas ocupadas. Lo primero que pedí fue una coca cola por favor y hacer posible rápido. Después pedimos frango, arroz y batatas fritas y nos quedamos a nonadados nosotros y las otras mesas porque los otros habían pedido antes pero vinieron a nuestra mesa primero. La comida repugnante como el trato. El pollo frío, las patatas fritas las del día anterior frías y retorcidas y el arroz que ni se lo comían los perros, como bien les comenté al marcharme. Siempre intento ser educados ya que la hostelería fue mi gran pasión a la que le dediqué buena parte de mi vida, entre fogones desde bares a los grandes y mas reconocidos restaurantes. Nunca vi un trato igual. Denotando claramente que no tienen el mas mínimo interés por su profesión. Y lo peor tener que comerse parte de esa basura, cuando te juegas la vida o la muerte. Lo que más lamente no fue abrirles una queja o llamar a sanidad...
