O Gaspacho — Restaurant in Reguengos de Monsaraz

Péssima receção por parte do possível proprietário. Fiquei horrorizado e chocado com a receção que tivemos logo na entrada da porta no passado dia 15 agosto 2019, cerca das 20h30. Eu até vi um balcaozinho simpático para comer um gaspacho reconfortante sem querer ocupar uma mesa, que aliás parece que não havia vaga. Mas o senhor, sem sequer olhar para mim, mandou me embora com maus modos e repetiu - não temos mesa, estou lhe a dizer que não temos mesa, etc. Com uma entoação imprópria e desagradável. Não está correto tratar portugueses de modo diferente do que provavelmente trataria estrangeiros. Num local tão turistico e emblemático do nosso país, uma das 7 maravilhas de Portugal, etc. não é realmente aceitável. Eu até compreendo que o restaurante estivesse cheio, mas aquilo é tão pequeno... Estou farto de ser mal tratado na minha terra. O local parece, no entanto, simpático e acolhedor. A regressar um dia para apagar a má imagem e porque adoro gaspacho ... e Monsaraz, claro !

Mauvaise réception par le propriétaire possible. J'ai été horrifié et choqué par la réception que nous avons eue devant la porte le 15 août 2019, vers 20h30. J'ai même vu un gentil petit garçon en train de manger un gaspacho réconfortant sans vouloir occuper une table qui ne semble pas avoir de poste vacant. Mais vous, sans même me regarder, m'a envoyé mal et a répété - nous n'avons pas de table, je vous dis que nous n'avons pas de table, etc. Avec une intonation inappropriée et désagréable. Il n'est pas correct de traiter le portugais différemment de ce que vous traiteriez probablement des étrangers. Dans un tel lieu touristique et emblématique de notre pays, une des 7 merveilles du Portugal, etc. Pas vraiment acceptable. Je comprends même que le restaurant était plein, mais il est tellement petit ... J'en ai assez d'être maltraité sur mes terres. L'endroit semble cependant sympathique et accueillant. Revenir un jour pour effacer la mauvaise image et parce que j'aime le gaspacho ... et Monsaraz, bien sûr!

Cattiva ricezione da parte del possibile proprietario. Sono rimasto inorridito e scioccato dall'accoglienza che abbiamo avuto davanti alla porta il 15 agosto 2019, intorno alle 20:30. Ho anche visto un bambino carino mangiare un gazpacho confortante senza voler occupare un tavolo, che sembra non avere posti vacanti. Ma tu, senza nemmeno guardarmi, mi hai espulso in modo negativo e ripetuto: non abbiamo un tavolo, ti sto dicendo che non abbiamo un tavolo, ecc. Con un'intonazione inappropriata e spiacevole. Non è corretto trattare il portoghese in modo diverso da come probabilmente tratteresti gli stranieri. In un posto così turistico ed emblematico del nostro paese, una delle 7 meraviglie del Portogallo, ecc. Non proprio accettabile Capisco anche che il ristorante era pieno, ma è così piccolo ... Sono stufo di essere trattato male sulla mia terra. Il posto sembra comunque amichevole e accogliente. Tornando un giorno per cancellare la cattiva immagine e perché amo gazpacho ... e Monsaraz,...

Needed a quick bite on a hot day and this place delivered! Who knew Something as simple as cheese with honey and oregano on toast could be that sublime? Partner had their potato dish which was delicious and the tomatoes that were served with it were fresh with a little olive oil and oregano.

I didn’t love the namesake cup of gaspacho, although that would have more to do with my wanting it to have more tomatoes and a dislike of too many raw onions.

I came here last year and realized I did not leave a comment. The best gazpacho ever! Also had the tosta with tomatoes and cheese. Wow! What a difference simple fresh products make! Also had the apple pie/cake and also very good. Will definitely go back. It is a very small place but charming. The owner seemed a bit cold at first but opened up when talking about his meals and even started...
