Don’t do it. The view is magnificent. If you are only going to visit Monseraz for a meal once, don’t come here. The food is very average or perhaps even not good. I could do much better myself. The service is fast and grumpy. You get a view of the water but the view on the other Sude of the hill, despite the hot setting sun, is much better. We had the Monseraz Tinto. Nice people everywhere… Anyway, if you go to this area, you shouldn’t...

We would have eaten there a second night but our bike company had us booked at another place. If you are in Monsaraz, do yourself a favor - make a reservation. We spent 22 days in Portugal - this was one of our favorite...
