This was a great spot to grab takeout after a fun day in Madeira. The staff was incredibly friendly, as were the locals hanging out at the bar. We ordered a “special sandwich,” and while the sandwich overall was great, the steak itself was a 2/5 for us—though to be fair, we’ve been spoiled with amazing steak elsewhere on the island. My husband had the swordfish sandwich and gave it a full 5/5—he was obsessed. We also got an order of fries, which I wouldn’t recommend. They weren’t terrible, just not the kind of thing this place shines at.

Have been multiple times to this establishment before, was always amazing. Poncha is still great, however the service is very disrespectful. In Madeira you should usually get a snack with a drink.
