This was a great spot to grab takeout after a fun day in Madeira. The staff was incredibly friendly, as were the locals hanging out at the bar. We ordered a “special sandwich,” and while the sandwich overall was great, the steak itself was a 2/5 for us—though to be fair, we’ve been spoiled with amazing steak elsewhere on the island. My husband had the swordfish sandwich and gave it a full 5/5—he was obsessed. We also got an order of fries, which I wouldn’t recommend. They weren’t terrible, just not the kind of thing this place shines at.
