AVENIDA GastroPub & Grill — Restaurant in Ribeira Brava

Went for a meal today with family, food was excellent and the service was really good. There was a problem with a large group, they became very aggressive and rude towards the staff because apparently they were waiting to long for the food. The restaurant was completely full and they were short of staff, this group came after us and some of other customers, we wait one hour after order was taking and drinks arrived but there was no much staff cloud do. I really think this people overreacted and if I was the owner they will be banned from the restaurant forever. At some point one of the men almost punch one of the staff,, Completely out of order.! I am from ribeira brava village and I have being to this restaurant several times and food and service...

Worst place to eat in all Rivera Brava. 29/03/2024. It says outside Grill, which would let many to belive the food is cooked on coal, charcoal or directly wood, but it's actually a steam grill! But that is the minimum, seeing the fact that we both ordered 2 porks (iberian) and THEY WERE BOTH HARD LIKE ROCKS, AND LITTLE PORTIONS. We also had some fried chips that were 7.50€! And they were luterally just fried chips with some herbs on top. The waitress was also extremely rude, and when we asked for some specifications on the food she just said I don't know and gave us the menu. DO NOT GO!! P.S. also we paid 55€ for some cheap pork and some fried chips,...

I had the Cheeseburger and my wife had the shrimp risotto. my burger was great, juicy and plenty of mayo. i had fries with it. wife said her risotto was really good and actually couldn’t finish it as the portion was so generous. lots of shrimp piet and 2 larger shrimp as a garnish.

We both had desert. tiramisu didn’t really taste like a traditional tiramisu but was tasty. white chocolate desert was great. wife had a glass of red. total €45 which i think is pretty good value.

ate at 6pm so it was quite so can’t comment...
