We tried this Sushi Restaurant for the first time last night and we (4)were completely bowled Over. We chose the " all you can eat menu" and each piece was Pure artistic perfection served on a boat. The Rice used is completely different..soft fluffy and a pop of flavour. In my travels and attendance at Sushi restaurantes this Rice used stands out. Sushi is freshly made and worth The 5 to 8 minute wait. But they do offer each guest 2 DELICIOUS spring rolos in crispy phyllo pastry while you wait.The end result is fresh and an explosion of flavour. The staff are ever present but in a quiet inobtrusive manner. They appear when you need them. Wine is served and poured by the resident sommelier. We ordered another boat between the 4. One of the best tasting and for sure best priced sushi I‘ve ever had. 😍 If you pick the all you can eat dinner, you really get your money’s worth with such a lovely arranged platter and so many options to order seconds. You can tell the kitchen staff is excellent at their craft and put their heart into it. I also like the no-waste policy they have for all you can eat, which charges for each piece you order and don‘t eat, showing a respectful approach towards food and resources. 🙏🏼🤍 The atmosphere felt very welcoming to us, the staff was lovely and genuine, our waiter was so sweet and when we came a second time to eat dinner there again, he recognized us and the staff even put together a bigger arrangement of sushi for the same price, just because we came again. Very much recommend place. It might not be "classical Madeira dining experience" but it's definitely a worthy competition. One week in Madeira and already the second time here because it's just oh so good. The Sushi is high quality and super yummy, all fresh ingredients, cool combinations and definitively a bargain. Highest recommendations. Another big plus: super friendly staff and a beautiful dining place with nice interior and a cozy terrace. If you are in the area, give it a try.
