Restaurante Amandius — Restaurant in Santa Maria da Feira

Very local restaurant, big portions for a very reasonable price. It's like a dinner style where you can see your food get cooked right in front of your eyes. All the food is fresh, and service was super nice, considering we don't speak Portuguese. The steak was salted well and cooked to a perfect medium rare, sunny side up egg cooked so the yolk was still a little runny, and the amount of fries they served us was insane. They brought out a plate of fries for the table, and I thought it was for the whole table, but they said it was for one person. We didn't even get to finish all the amazing food because of the sheer amount of food. Overall, this is a very true to the blue local restaurant that serves you homecooked food for a very respectable price (Unlike the tourist restaurants in Lisbon that we were in, which some Indian restaurant charged like a whopping 18 dollars for some trash, small portioned seafood rice) But yeah this place has no tourists, which most of the time tells you that the restaurant will be...

Was in highway on the way home and decided to get out on Santa Maria de feira for eat..and found this restaurant... seeing the reviews first..people says their francesinha is the best....

And boom !!!! This was one of the best francesinha I ever taste!!!! the other good part is the staff was super nice and fast..the toilet was smells good and clean..

And the price is going to make you happy! Definitely highly...

Provamos a francesinha especial acompanhada de uma dose de batatas, o molho é bastante saboroso e a carne de alta qualidade, mas as salsichas deixam bastante a desejar, principalmente quando junta uma carne de tanta qualidade com uma salsicha Frankfurt de mercado. A casa é muito pequena em comparação à demanda, o espaço de salão é pequeno e para além das pessoas à entrada na lista de espera, soma-se as pessoas à espera do take away, o que deixa o espaço abarrotado. O atendimento num geral foi bastante atencioso por parte das cozinheiras e da atendente da entrada, entretanto o garçom encarregado do salão não foi muito atencioso, ao começar a fazer o nosso pedido saiu a meio para levar uns pratos para outra mesa e acabou por esquecer de lançar as batatas no pedido da francesinha, fazendo com que essas chegassem bastante depois das francesinhas. Pedimos também uma coca cola que simplesmente nunca chegou e o vinho que pedimos tivemos de pedir duas vezes porque ele se esqueceu na primeira.
