Snack-Bar Ponto de Encontro — Restaurant in Santana

MAYBE CONVENIENT FOR SANTANA TOURISM BUT DONT USE IT: They made up prices for a take-away. A slice of Pizza and French Fries (chips) were ordered following a trip to the Santana A-Framed houses. After starting the chips the price was delivered and it was €11. When challenged the unkind woman serving said that the order was already made. This is true but the Pizza slice could have easily gone back into the warming cabinet as all she did was wrap it in tin foil. It was cold so we asked for it to return and we would take the chips only. She was obviously well versed at either not listening or ready to argue that we had made the order. We left, chips were OK but not at €5, the slice of pizza was really not value for money either at €5.50 and then .50 was added for us to take it away. Prices are not displayed, food is really not worth it and clearly they are well versed when challenged with an “How Much”! Don’t bother with this place. 1 star given...

Stopped here randomly to get a quick bite and it turned out to be delicious and the highlight of our whole visit to the area. The owner is kind and service is quick. I have the Chicken sandwich and my wife had the Tuna sandwich. We both thought the sandwiches were super delicious and even contemplated opening our own restaurant with the same sandwiches. Boa tarde pra quem lê este comentário. Se realmente querem comer um prato ou seja o que for este lugar não é mesmo o mais apropriado . Acho que estão muito longe de ter alguma nota de excelência. Primeiramente entro neste espaço e sorri na cara e pessoas frias com uma autêntica depressão da parte de todo mundo . Parece que o mundo lhes caiu em cima. Segundo , a refeição chega a mesa , menu a 8.50€ , bolo do caco com acompanhento de batata frita e bebida . Preço não está mau , mal está o preço em si mesmo porque podemos comer barato e bem bom mas este não era o caro . O pão parecia uma pastilha elástica que custava a dar uma dentada , sabia e percebia-se que não era do dia , mas sim do dia anterior ou dias anteriores , pois eles costumam comprar o pão e congelar e depois colocar no micro ondas e descongelar desta forma, a batata era boa mas servem bem pouco , do tamanho de uma sobremesa , e pagam se for menu sem batata , pagam 3€ por ela , bem caro . Nem bom dia nem boa tarde e pessoal frio. Não recomendo e estou e fiquei com a sensação de que poderia ficar doente do meu estômago por isso decidi não comer tudo , deixei mais da metade no prato . Deveriam de sorrir e servir bem , não é só ganhar dinheiro sem terem qualidade . Foi a minha primeira e última vez e não levarei clientes nem vou sugerir ....
