Restaurante Eva Pecado Natural — Restaurant in Santarém

Based on pictures and reviews we had expected the food and drinks to be tastier than they were. Even though some burger patties were vegan, the bread they used apparently wasn't, which reduces your options greatly as a vegan. Burger had little to no sauce, and was served with purple potato crisps, while I had expected proper fries or potato wedges. It's on the pictures online but hard to notice on first glance. Drinks (smoothie Eva, Paraiso selvagem) were especially disappointing. Lack of taste, as if they added much water to them, very watery and little flavor. Had to wait long for food to arrive. A rainy day in Santarem... and than this nice little restaurant. 🌞welcoming was good, smiles all over 🙂 lovely people. They have a cute terrace in front of the door ... for when it doesn't rains 😄 Food is very good. Tasty, quality and finesse are reuned here. They make their own smoked salmon. I had a egg Benedict with smoked salmon, absolutely delicious and the Sauce hollandaise was perfect. Followed with a duck salad with a good dressing, plenty of tasty seeds and fresh orange. Not common to have these explosion of tastes in an average Restaurant with acceptable...

We had early brunch there today. The food was good and the price reasonable. We had 2 bruch menu. The food is plenty for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Unfortunately, the service was not good: none offered a baby chair and when asked, it took long time to bring it to us (althought we were almost alone, because we made an early reservation due to the kids), our order did not come correctly (normal egg bt came instead of salmon eggs) and they forgot our coffees (which we asked to come as early as possible). As a couple living in Germany, I expected a better service...
