A quaint little Italian. We had high hopes for this place as it was recommended to us by an English couple that used to live in this area. It did not disappoint! I was a little unsure after reading some of the reviews, but I can honestly say that I don't agree with anything negative that I read. The staff were lovely, the chef even made two little toys for our 1 year old out of old corks and a cocktail umbrella! If you're looking for a cute Italian restaurant with authentic pizzas or pasta (I'm not the biggest fan of pizza - don't hate me, but it is my husbands favourite) this has to be high up on the list! I had the Linguine Nero, my husband had Pizza Tricolore and my 1 year old had a Margharita. If you love seafood like me, I absolutely recommend this dish! My only criticism is that there was no child's menu so we had to buy her a full size adults portion. But they kindly boxed up her leftovers for us and it meant we had a tasty midnight snack!

Visited for the second time 10 years later. We were the only customers in there for the duration on a Saturday evening mid October. This used to be the number one restaurant in the area 10 years ago. Pizza was OK but as others have mentioned there are far too many ingredients/vegetables etc stacked high on the dish. Service wasn’t exactly speedy. No one came over to ask if our food was ok. With no one else in the restaurant and nothing else to do you’d think the staff would take a few minutes to speak to their one and only set of customers. Manners and friendlyness cost nothing. Reasonableish price. Not sure we would bother returning again. I don’t know why these restaurants bother staying open in October when there are hardly any tourists around and staff can’t be bothered to interact with ACTUAL customers.

Very, very quiet today, but I suspect the rest of the world 🌎 was watching Manchester City beat Real Madrid 4-0 ⚽️. Meantime, hugely generous portions (took some of the pizza back with us!), and lovely to be offered a shot on the house at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is probably fab ... just not when the football is on! Great wine for €13.50, the Parma ham and melon starter was amazing. So highly recommended.

From my point of view, highly overrated. The Pizzas are packed with way too many ingredients, the mushrooms on her pizza would have been suitable for 5-6 pizzas. the pizza-mass is not ideal neither, very watery ane not stable. My pizza was a little better, but way to go. My sons pasta (carbonara) was full of cream and bacon and very stuffy, never the less it was the best of all three plates. The starter (antipasto misto) was ok, but not more. the variety of meats and its quality was average or below. There are better italian restaurants in...
