The BEST Indian food in all of Portugal!

We moved to Portugal a few years ago and have traveled all over there country, many times, eating at many, many Indian restaurants, and we keep coming back to this one for a reason.

While most restaurants are bland, too sweet and/or all seem to be all based on the same sauce (adjusted to those afraid of "foreign" flavors), the flavors here are authentic and true to the names. What a joy to be able to order a variety of dishes and have each one arrive fresh and completely different in flavor and deliciousness.

Also, not only can you request your spicy/hot level, but if you want it, they have this amazing green sauce/salsa that allows you to increase the heat to your liking, without compromising the flavor. We love it!

The service here is always welcoming, too. I love sitting outside, hearing the ocean, and enjoying the sunshine with a drink, while being teased with the delightful aromas of our dishes being prepared.

While on holiday, we stumbled upon an incredible Indian restaurant, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel instantly welcome. The service was impeccable, thanks to the friendly and attentive fella who took care of us throughout the meal.

Now, onto the food—simply divine! We started with the tandoori platter, which was bursting with smoky, perfectly spiced flavours. The paneer saag was a standout, rich and beautifully cooked, and the biryani was a masterpiece—fragrant, well-seasoned, and packed with depth. Every bite transported us straight to the heart of India.

It’s been a while since I’ve had such a good Indian meal, and if we were staying longer, I could genuinely see myself living in the area just to have easy access to this place! If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss out—this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
