I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic family restaurant that offered an unforgettable experience. We are here on on the last night of our holiday. What a fantastic place, a buffet meal Alentejo style. There was so much to choose from including traditional cold meats, cheeses and salad for starters then multiple main dishes and a lovely wine served by the jug. If you would like to try authentic Portuguese food but are not sure what to order this is perfect as you can try a little of everything and keep going back for more. When we thought we were done we were served a selection of Portuguese deserts, then aguardente shots and coffee. Don't be put off that this is a buffet. The food was great and well presented and the owner is a real character - this was an event, not just a meal and it was a great way to end our holiday. A minha segunda viagem por esta casinha!! Na 1 experiência, no início não gostei muito do registo verbal do dono no acolhimento dos clientes, no seu espaço, mas resolvi dar o benefício da dúvida, mesmo dp de ter visto a circular pelas mesas um garrafão de água ardente que vinha do chão para cima das mesas. Hoje na minha 2 experiência, tinha uma reserva para as 13h, hora de abertura do espaço e combinado telefonicamente com o dono, que agradecia pontualidade!!! E lá estavamos nós na hora da pontualidade, eu e a minha família, assim como os restantes clientes, que se encontravam à espera, que a porta se abrisse!! Estava sol e muito calor!!! O restaurante possui um pequeno alpendre, onde cabem , talvez 6 pessoas, não mais, atendendo que tb tinha uma mesa. Às 13 20, sem qq explicação o espaço continuava fechado!! O dono, quando questionado sobre a hora de abertura da porta, respondeu que os clientes só entrariam quando ele quisesse e que no momento iriam comer chouriço assado no exterior! Foi lhe então dito, que estava muito calor no exterior e que havia dois idosos com 86 anos ao sol, que tínhamos sido pontuais e que queríam entrar para o interior , para ficarmos resguardados do calor. Ao que o dono respondeu, que ele é que decidia a entrada no interir do restaurante e que a nossa reserva tinha acabado de ser cancelada. Insólito, sem ética profissional, sem moral, sem educação, rude.....como é possível este tipo de trato aos clientes !! Hoje foi comigo, amanhã será com outros!!! Este senhor, se assim se pode chamar, não tem educação para ter esta atividade aberta!! Como é óbvio, não lamento o cancelamento, pois nem eu nem a minha família, queríamos mais, almoçar ali! Enumeros restaurantes muito bons que há por aí, que sabem dignificar o seu espaço, a sua atividade, de forma hospitaleira e com etica profissional . Lamento sim, ter sujeitado a minha família a este acontecimento e ter dado mais uma oportunidade a alguém que não merece qualquer tipo de consideração .....que...
