We had a lovely time. Arrived a little late into a busy lunch service at 2pm, but the four of us (two adults, two kids) were sat quickly on an inside table and not left waiting for service. We were promptly offered a plate of olives, bread, a sort of cheese curd and little packets of sardine / tuna paste - very tasty. Our first choices of fish (octopus and squid) weren't available (perhaps unsurprising as we were late). However, what we ordered was fantastic - clams, sea bream and snapper. Exactly what a lover of fresh fish wants to see on a plate. Came with beautiful waxy new potatoes and mixed salad.
The dessert menu was extensive. A large offering of pre-packaged mass produced ice-cream products (OK) contrasted with some fantastic home-made looking fare. We had a fig pudding. Bloody lovely.

Read moreThe feeling you get at this restaurant is that you are a walking wallet...they are very quick to come with entres that you didn't order, then with 2 different dishes of meat, we only got like a small bowl of rice to share along with "chips"- well, they were crisps..apparentally home made and we thought they would serve normal chips to meat...the soup came semi warm...and then when you are still chewing your meat, they come running with a dessert card...you really have the feeling they treat you like a wallet rather creating a cosy atmosphere where you can digest your food...the steak meat was also...
Read moreExtremely overpriced in accordance to the taste and overall enjoyment. The waiters were extremely pushy; asking if we wanted something else several times and it was just to much. When the waiters asked if we wanted starters, followed by saying bread, butter, we figured out why not have some bread and butter. A few minutes later we get a wooden brick with literally everything you could buy on the starters menu, amounting to approximately 11 euro.
Another thing was that the food was cold and the pork loin was extremely salty.
