Our food took 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive and the restaurant wasn't near full. When, after 40 minutes, we asked if it would take much longer, one of the waiters was dismissive and rude, saying "Here everything takes long." One hour in we asked for the bill because the food still hadn't arrived and they guaranteed it was almost ready. Finally, 15 minutes later we were served, and only then did someone bother to come apologise to us, saying they gave our food to someone else and that had caused the delay. When we finally finished our meal and asked to pay, the rude waiter - he looked/acted more like the manager of the place - again came to the table and said "You have no patience and food here always takes a long time. You should have chosen some place else. Every restaurant here is the same." This obnoxious man, who not once apologised even after we told him he was being rude to us, completely ruined our meal. Twice before we left, he came outside only to start arguing again, the final time saying that they missed some staff and that was why they were so slow. First they said that's their normal speed and blamed us for being impatient. Then they said they delivered our order to some other table, and then finally they said were low on staff. When I request the complain book, the employee wanted to push me out of the restaurant and almost showing willing to become agrressive. And me and my family only wanted to dinner. This is a true example how the service is in Algarve and that’s why this area of my country will never develop while we keep having this low quality of service. ASAE should start doing proper inspections in this places. There are much better restaurants in this area and you should avoid at any cost to spend one euro in this restaurant. Read moreTudo começou com um simples pedido de espadarte com cebolada. O pedido chegou e constatámos que não estava bem confeccionado. A cebola que deveria estar dourada, estava branca e crua e o molho era simplesmente água e vinho. Apesar disto tudo, colocámos a hipótese de ser assim a sua confecção ou então poderia haver efetivamente um problema com o prato e deveríamos esclarecer as dúvidas. Questionámos então o funcionário e a resposta foi: Sim, é suposto a cebola estar dourada, mas o que quer que eu faça?” num tom ríspido. Na verdade, acabou de responder à nossa questão, mas não era intenção nossa mandar o prato para trás, apesar de não estar bem confeccionado. Apenas queríamos fazer uma crítica à cozinha. Mais tarde, abordámos novamente outro funcionário na tentativa de que este fosse pelo menos mais compreensível que o anterior e a resposta foi ainda pior - mal educado, arrogante e não nos deixou terminar o que tínhamos para dizer. No momento do pagamento, não hesitámos e pedimos o livro de reclamações. Tínhamos de pôr um travão na atitude dos funcionários para connosco. Já nem se tratava do prato estar bem ou não confeccionado, aqueles comportamentos eram inaceitáveis. Afinal de contas, só queríamos manifestar o nosso desagrado. Bastou pedirmos o livro de reclamações para que se despoletasse a ira do proprietário, havendo momentos em que tememos seriamente pela nossa segurança. Mantivemos sempre toda a calma e cordialidade, afinal de contas estávamos no nosso direito de reclamar. Fomos enxovalhados à frente de toda a gente que estava no restaurante, como se de algum crime tivéssemos cometido.
