Just have to add "that today I had an unfounte experience. I was with my 78year old mother it was hot and in the sun. They wouldn't open the umbrella for her., it's a shame but definatley changes my option from 5 stars to mow changed"

Great place to meet up with friends. Great coffee, large selection of freshly made cakes and breads, the sandwiches are amazing and well portioned. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Very friendly but difficult to access as several high steps however there is seating outside on the pavement but then one cannot see the available selection. The café is on 3 levels. Currently they operate a one-way system where one enters on the right hand side and exits on the left but not everyone adheres to it. Good selection of cakes. Good coffee and cold drinks. They speak English but will let you practice your portugeuse with some patience.
