A terrace full of tables, and a massive charcoal grill. They will be grilling fresh fish non-stop til they run out of fish.. or people. it doesn't get more portuguese than this!

There's no menu here. they only serve what kind of fish they bought in the fish market that day. You sit, and two minutes later comes a basket of bread, olives, salad, and boiled potatoes with skin. Two minutes after that, the first batch of fish arrives. Sometimes they ask you what kind of fish do you prefer, sometimes they just bring whatever is ready in the grill. Each customer gets 2 servings of a very generous amount of fish.

The cherry on top are the slices of bread they grill alongside the fish. They brush the slices with a concoction of pepper and olive oil (and probably something else), then they let it slightly toast. The bread will get the smoky flavour form the charcoal, an even a hint of grilled fish. It tastes insanely good. My stomach may be bursting, there's no more buttons left on my trousers to unbutton, but I still beg for a another slice!

In the end, they bring a basket full of fruit for your table. If you can still eat, that is. Truly is a feast, and for an unbelievably cheap price.

They don't take reservations. If there's no tables available when you arrive, there's a black board at the entrance where you write your name and number of people, and just wait. They have also a small room inside, but it gets really hot in the summer. It's way better outside, anyways.

Tenía muy buenas referencias y, por tanto, altas expectativas de este lugar, pero tras mi experiencia puedo decir, que a pesar de que mis expectativas eran altas, estas se superaron con creces.

Pasamos por el lugar sobre las 12 para preguntar si podíamos reservar (no es posible hacer reservas) y me llamó la atención que ya había gente. Decidimos marcharnos y volver un poco más tarde, ya que era temprano para almorzar. Regresamos sobre las 13:15 y había muchísima gente, nos apuntamos en una pizarra y esperamos 55min para pasar a salón, espera larga, pero que mereció la pena.

Una vez que te pasan a comedor y sientan, toman nota de bebida y directamente te la sirven con una ensalada mixta y unas patatas que parecían al vapor. Seguidamente, nos trajeron una bandeja de pan tostado con aceite y tomate untado que estaba muy bueno y dos bandejas de pescado a la brasa variado. El pescado entre otros traía lubinas y doradas, los otros no supimos identificarlos con seguridad. A simple vista parecía que el pescado estaba muy hecho, pero quedó en una simple apariencia, puesto que estaba en punto de cocinado perfecto. Había 4 variedades y estaban todas realmente exquisitas, nos encantó.

Aunque ya poca hambre había, teníamos capricho de sardinas y preguntamos si tenían para pedir ración, en la ración nos informaron que venían 8 por lo que pedimos una racion y una ración de lubina (2 lubinas). Las lubinas sabíamos que estaban buenas de la primera tanda, pero las sardinas fueron un auténtico espectáculo, estaban exquisitas, tanto es que puedo decir que estas han sido las mejores sardinas que me he comido en el 2022 sin duda alguna. Jugosas, sabrosas y apretadas.

Una vez acabamos de comer, retiraron platos y consultaron si queríamos café, pedimos algún café, seguidamente nos preguntaron si queríamos algo de fruta, dijimos que si y a nuestra sorpresa nos trajeron una cesta inmensa cargada de fruta variada. La fruta en general estaba más bien, pero los paraguayos y melocotones estaban deliciosos.

Lo más asombroso fue cuando pedimos cuenta, no ponían precio de cosas, directamente cobraban un precio cerrado por persona. Nos quedamos muy sorprendidos, pues todo estaba buenísimo, comimos muchísimo, repetimos pescado, pan con tomate, tomamos café y varias piezas de fruta y con todo esto que comento la cuenta ascendió a 70€ (14€×5pax). Relación calidad/precio de diez.
