the worst restaurant i ever been !!!!! i have a few issue from my experience there and I explain:  (4 is the worst case  read to the end) We ordered 2 glass of sangria and we got a 1 liter. (But we didn't say nothing because we guessed he " didn't understand us". We have traditional soups and chicken soup. The traditional soup was ok and the chicken soup was very cold, after we told the waiter who pretended that he doesn't speak English and we tell him in Portuguese then he took the soup and returned with the soup that was still cold. We ordered a goat cheese toast, that smell bad after one bite we felt something wrong or rotten. We try to explain to the waiter but he was rude and did not care. And after this case we decided that we want to pay and go. My friend went straight to Boss to explain the situation gently and asked to cancel the charge of the toast. He did not understand English but the waiter was translated. (The same waiter of the beginning did not know English). They were very bully and talked in a threatening way. And we of course did not want to argue. We paid what they deserved without the toast and went out. And they followed us to the car and...

Straight to business. This is my first negative review, and only on my 6 days in the National Park of Gerês. Surprisingly, since it has 4.2 out of more than 1k reviews!

Pataniscas were terrible. Tasteless, couldn't feel almost the bacalhau in them. I did not eat them all. The prego and cogumelos were just ok. Nothing worth mentioning.

It was the only disappointing experience out of all the restaurants we tried for lunch/dinner in Gerês and Vieira do Minho. The quality/price seemed expensive compared to the other restaurants we have tried in the region.

Service after seating us took 13 minutes to come and take our order. Also, they did not bother to even ask if everything was ok when they saw us not eating the pataniscas, not during or at the end of the meal.

Maybe the kitchen changed or the service is different from the past since it has good reviews, but that is not the case now. Hope my feedback helps to steer it...

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been worst experience ! ! I was there two weeks ago, besides getting a cold soup, one meal that we ordered was a goat cheese toast, it tasted terrible and we couldn't touch it after one bite, we asked to return it. We decided to leave afterwards and asked for the bill. The manager refused to take the toast of the bill even when I kindly tried to explain we will not pay for a meal we haven't eaten as we returned it. We paid in cash without the toast and left, they had the nerve to ran after us to the car and it was very threatening and intimidating. worst service, treat tourist and their guests...
