Hotel Central Jardim — Hotel in Terras de Bouro

The hotel is located just in the centre of the Villa do Gerês.||We had some issues to find it at the beginning but the receptionist was extremely helpful and was just awaiting for us in the street to avoid any confusion.||At the check-in we were welcomed with a box of local pastries (really good by the way) and we were given all the instructions/indications needed for our stay.||We were told that we would stay on a different building (not in the main building where reception and breakfast are located) which is only a couple of minutes walking. Also, there is free parking space but it is 5 min walking from the hotel. We stayed in this hotel for the Geres Gran Fondo cycling event, and were more than happy with the experience. The staff were available to help us at every moment of the stay, from helping us with the parking to offering us the room to shower when the event finished at 16.00. Situado en la propia Geres, está a un paso del balneario. Hay muy buenos restaurantes en las proximidades.||Nosotros estuvimos en el edificio original (parece que tienen una segunda sede, que no está tan bien). La habitación: bien. Suficiente. Daba para la parte de atrás, por la que pasa una calle no demasiado ruidosa y un río. El baño bien, limpio, con las amenities habituales y suficientes. Quizás había un poco de olor a cañerías, pero nada grave.||El wifi funcionaba en todo el hotel con muy buena velocidad de conexión. La TV sin embargo, solo tenía 3 canales ¿? pero bueno, habiendo buena WIFI, eso tiene solución.||Quizás lo peor (por decir algo) el desayuno, que era poco variado (en salado, solo jamón cocido y queso loncheado), no había croissants, pero tenían un bizcocho de almendra que quitaba el sentido. Varios tipos de pan para tostar y algo de bollería industrial. Así mismo, el café era muy flojo (no sé si sería café de verdad... en la jarra ponía algo de cereales ¿?), pero todo ello, más que suficiente, al menos para como desayunamos normalmente en España. También había fruta y cereales (marca Kellogs!) y yogures.||La atención por parte del personal fue fantástica, muy amables y serviciales. No sé si va incluido en todas las ofertas, pero nos regalaron una cajita de galletas típicas de la zona, que estaban muy ricas.||El precio, sobre 40€ por noche, 2 personas con desayuno incluido.
