De'Gustar Restaurante Mixology Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Torres Novas

Good luck in De'Gustar if you're a vegan. I honestly don't recommend trying this place. I called before going to ask about vegan options and they said over the phone that they had at least 2. When I got to the restaurant the options were mushroom risotto (non vegan as it has butter and cheese (they told me so when I asked once I was there)) and a salad. So the option was a salad. The menu said the salad had fruit, cheese and nuts so I asked to remove the cheese and settled for a plain salad after calling and driving 10min to get there.

They brought over a shrimp salad and I told the waiter (who already knew I was a vegan) I ordered a vegan salad. So he took it and a waitress came back with the same plate with the shrimps removed. For my surprise it had more shrimps under the lettuce and chicken (none of these ingredients were on the menu description). When I told her they had just removed the shrimps on top she said it wasn't the same one and that she saw how they made a new one but they just got it wrong again (the manager confirmed later that the waitress was lying and the first waiter had asked to only remove the shrimps cause I didnt want them...which is ridiculous). The manager also said that they changed the recipe of the salad but hadn't reflected it on the menu which I think is not legal.

So at this point, the person I was having lunch with had already finished his plate and I asked them to not bring me another salad cause I refused to eat by myself and pay for something they tried to sell me by lying to me.

Very disappointed, they don't communicate, are extremely unprofessional, liars and don't care at all about their costumer's needs and preferences. They hoped our next experience there was better but I am not coming back.

The iced tea is...

Great food and presentation. Excellent service from Edmara (the others could take lessons from her). But - they quoted me for a cake for my husband's birthday lunch, then charged almost double on the day! When I queried this, I was given a very arrogant response and a boatload of excuses, about how the cakes are charged by weight and ingredients, not by unit, we added a rocket (?!), blah blah blah, sorry for the misunderstanding. What? I asked for a cake, chocolate or coffee, nothing huge or fancy. They asked how many people it be for. I replied it would be for the 4 adults I had booked for the birthday lunch. They quoted me. I accepted. Simple arrangement, no? I have owned and run restaurants and safari lodges, catered events, and travelled the world. I have never experienced this way of doing business?! This could have been resolved with a "So sorry, that should not have happened. Please enjoy a bottle of wine with our compliments on your next visit", and I would have remained a very happy customer. Not with: we don't care how much you spend, or how often you visit, and we don't care about good or bad reviews. That's how it is. With that attitude, we'll probably never go back, no matter how good...

Classificação de 1 estrela pois é me impossível pontuar com menos. Hoje dia 4 de fevereiro fui pela primeira vez conhecer De’Gustar tal experiência que não voltarei a repetir. Ao entrar dentro da sala de refeições fui recebida por um senhor que ao olhar para mim e para as duas pessoas que estavam comigo olhou com despreso, entretanto questionamos se haveria crepes ao qual foi respondido que sim foi nos indicada uma mesa junto a janela pois era onde era servido os cliente do “bar” , entretanto pedimos 1 crepe com morango e nutela e duas tostas de frango conjugando com dois ice tea e uma coca cola. Posteriormente as bebidas chegaram e eis que eu pedi ae podia ver a menu dos jantares ao qual foi me dito que não era permitido pois eu fazia parte da “zona do bar” ok ate ai tudo bem mais tarde o nosso pedido chegou com isso as tostas sem sabor o crepe frio e a alface velha com o talo preto , contudo foi trocado após solicitado . Quanto ao resto a coca cola que pedimos foi trocada por pepsi sem permissão do cliente e os ice tea servidos no copo cheio de gelo ao qual eu nunca vi a sua embalagem. Com tudo isto foram 19 euros que pagamos sem me ser perguntado se queria fatura e sem recibo algum sendo que só me foi questionado se queria o...
