Al Ward Al Shami Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Al-Daayen

We heard the food here is good so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately never got to experience the food and ended leaving due to service and ambience. Parking situation outside- are they valet are they not? Quite disorganized outside. Finally convinced the security guard to let us self-park and went inside- Passed FIVE staff members, zero said hello- stood there and finally my husband said “hi can someone seat us?” Not the vibe you’re looking for when you go out to eat especially when there’s that many staff members. We asked for shisha area seating, of the three empty tables he picks the one literally next to the entrance without offering the other area. We decided to sit in non-shisha area for better seating Walked into the next area and there are two kids RIDING SCOOTERS INSIDE THE RESTAURANT. Old enough to be told no, mind you. I’m all for kids having fun, but riding scooters inside? I asked staff if they can ask them to stop, in more (or actually zero) words the answer was clearly no.

No point in going out to eat at a restaurant with poor service, poor seating, and poor ambiance. There are TONS of great Lebanese/Syrian restaurants in Qatar that offer impeccable service when you walk through their doors- easy to cross...

I recently visited a restaurant with a lovely location that also offers shisha.

The highlight of this place is definitely its pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. However, I found the food to be quite average overall.

There was one exception though - their fattoush salad had an absolutely divine taste.

I also had the opportunity to try some of their other salads, and they were all incredibly delicious. On the other hand, dishes like Keba labnya, shishbarak, and arayes had generous portion sizes but lacked that wow factor in terms of taste.

The prices are reasonable, making it a worthwhile visit. However, I would highly recommend that the restaurant focuses on improving the taste of their dishes to match the exceptional quality of their salads.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the restaurant and would suggest paying it a visit. With a little bit of work on enhancing the flavor of their food, it has the potential to become a truly outstanding dining...

I had Avery bad food since I came to Qatar 11yrs I ordered chicken pasta but wasn’t good. When I complained to the waiter, he went inside to discuss about me instead of helping me. I saw them but I assumed that I don’t see.I was watching them talking about me and even the manager who was wearing white shirt. After the waiter complained about me to him, he never even came to me to ask what happened.when I told them about tue food, the first waiter he didn’t come back to me because even the manager didn’t care. I told him that the food is not good, and he answered me confidently to me that “sorry I will not cancel the first order “ I told him don’t worry I will pay. As u can see on the picture there is beef which I ordered after. I think they treat me as they saw me. I was super sad and even the juice was not good . You should treat people equally.
