McDonald's Old Airport — Restaurant in Doha

The staff is very unprofessional, very loud, laughing and talking between each other, not caring much about customer, Service takes to long for some reason, always. It's not fast food... is very slow food... The staff were not nice, rude sometimes, Definitely not customer oriented, they try to cheat on the food portions, or souce portions, which is ridiculous ! Not sure they want customers 🤷‍♀️

I go McDonald's often and the service is definitely horrible in the Airport Macdonalds. Each time I go there, I'll have surprise... I paid specifically for large fries or the big box of fries and paid additional 5 qar for it, and upon opening the box or check the portion, it looked like the small one... the amount of fries was ridiculously less... Had the same situation with the sauce, paid for the big one with 5 qar, the the container was not filled as usual, the amount of souce was very little inside, compared to other times. Or paid 3 and got 1... The fact that they were also not fair to fix the situation, and had to argue and even when showing them the bill and food amount, got me disappointed with their behavior and decided to write a review. This is never the case in other...

Visited this branch recently and had a genuinely disappointing experience. I used the McDonald’s app promotions like any regular customer, followed the process correctly, and approached the counter with my order.

Instead of being treated with the same courtesy as any paying customer, I was handed the cheapest item on the receipt, not what the promo promised and then completely ignored. No update, no explanation, no professionalism. Staff took the receipt and walked away without a word. I was left standing awkwardly like I didn’t matter.

This wasn’t about the free item, it was about being treated with basic respect. The way I was judged and brushed off made it clear the staff had no interest in providing good service to someone using a deal. That’s not how customer service should work.

I’ve already reported this through all official channels, email, website, and even Instagram DMs, and got zero response. If McDonald’s truly values every customer equally, this is not the way to show it.

Hoping they take proper action and actually train their staff to treat all customers with dignity, not just the ones...

A busy and chaotic fast food centre. Busy and chaos because, it is one of the most sought after fast food restaurants in Doha.

This joint is 24hrs open. Some parking spots are available around the restaurant. Access to disabled parking and wheel chair access to the restaurant is available. There is a public toilet facility inside the restaurant. A decent size children play area is also present. A separate children birthdays or other party hall is also available.

The queues at the counter can run very long during peak hours, on weekends and public holidays. They have recently introduced electronic boards to directly order and pay to avoid standing in the queues. These boards are very easy and friendly to use.

There is a drive through facility too.

There are a couple of cons at this restaurant. Food could be modified slightly without your consent. A number of parking are taken up or occupied by customers who proceed to family food centre for their shopping. There seems to be no way to stop this.
