We went to this place to catch a football game during the World Cup. I think it was impossible to get a place here without a reservation and we were glad we had made one before getting there. We saw them telling that there was no place available earlier in the day.
Extremely packed. Typical sports bar vibe. Lots of screens and burger, fries and wings on the menu. Everything looks great! Well it almost is.
In terms of staff I have mixed feelings. We went earlier on the day of our reservation to see what table they were going to give us. The employee showed us around and we requested a table of 2 we liked. She mentioned that the layout changes every day based on the reservations so she can’t promise but she will try. We said if the layout remains the same, please give us the table. However, when we came for dinner, the layout was exactly the same as we had seen it and yet she pointed us to a table with high chairs which we didn’t want. Regardless, the manager was very nice and very accommodating. He promised to move our table once it was cleared and even gave us a free dessert. Servers were very busy and overworked.
The food was good. The burger is a good size but not gigantic that you can’t finish it. Taste wise it is good too. But the biggest problem, is the time it takes to get anything. I think we got our food in more than an hour which isn’t something you want at a nice restaurant. Maybe it was because of how busy it was but that’s precisely what a restaurant is supposed to cater to.
Overall, it’s a decent place. Good for a one time visit. But at the time of the World Cup it had a 200 minimum per person and I wouldn’t say it was worth that. There were many different options in fact within the same Holiday Inn / Crowne Plaza complex that are better...

Read moreGuest at the hotel, went for the 4th or 5th time, the experience was so pathetic that it just nullified the previous good experiences.
No one bothered about the order. Ordered pizza, at first it was burnt and I was asked if you have any issues let us know, I stayed polite and asked the server that it looks burnt. They did change it, and the other one wasn't good as well. Quite burnt, dry and turned cold within 5 mins of arriving.
And I am comparing this one with the one they served me previously, I was impressed. Being my last night here, I went in a happy mood to have pizza, some beers and their dessert.
The service today was pathetic. The drink arrived in no less than 40 mins. Although bill arrived as soon as I hinted.
Apart from this today it was so uncomfortable and felt unsafe for the first time, everyone staring, men standing by the window and trying to make eye contact. And the guard is unbothered. Literally ruined my night and the whole good mood. Last night here and I am regretting not going out to some other place, just to seek comfort here. It seemed since I became a regular, I lost the charm.
Pics of the pizzas served in the same restaurant, essentially at the same time, on two different occasions.
Not disappointed because who cares about the comfort of a single woman, but highly disheartened by experiencing a good service here and it diminished in a week.
Being here for two weeks, I already recommended this to many people but now...
