"Il cibo è delizioso!"
I am writing to express my gratitude for the service you offered last night on 21st March 2025 when I visited your restaurant along with my friend to celebrate my 44th birthday. It was one of the most memorable birthday events in my life and your staff (Mr. Khaled & all waiters & waitress + Kitchen staffs) made it even more special by offering a complimentary birthday mocktail drinks.
You have definitely won me as one of your permanent customers and I would love to recommend your restaurant to my acquaintances.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very soothing, relaxing and luxury. Beautiful interior and wonderful and accurately placed lighting system - neither too bright nor too dim make this place a perfect spot for celebrations.
The taste of the food was just out of the world. Allow me to say that you made me nostalgic as the food tasted similar to what my mother cooks for me back at home (I meant so much tasty and flavorful even though it’ different kind of foods), though this made me miss my home and mother more (Thailand)! From 5 Appetizers: I love it all (Eggplant caviar is out of the World to me). Your 3 Main Courses: The Pappardelle Homemade Paper Moon & Risotto have stolen my heart-lovin it. The 4 desserts: All are my favorite, and I love it all. Drinks: I really appreciated the complimentary birthday mocktail drinks & fresh leaves hot tea were just perfect combination for our special evening!
Once again, big thanks to you and your whole staffs at Paper Moon for making my birthday more distinctive.
Yours faithfully,
Annie...
Read moreOver the past 8 years we have had dinner at papermoon on numerous occassions. Until now the experience has been very good. The last time however it was utterly bad. As an appetizer we had the burrata salad which was decent. After that the experience went downhill. My wife had the risotto with white fresh truffel which was supposed to be prepared at our table. When her plate arrived, it looked horrible, which one can overcome if the taste is good, but the risotto was seriously undercooked and I am sorry to to say, but it looked like a plate of vomit. I had a spaghetti with vongole, which are supposed to be served on the pasta in the shell. Also this pasta tasted awfull. In order to forget about the food we decided to order a scroppino. What we received was a prosecco with a bit of lime juice. I would suggest to either look up the recipe for the scroppino or take it off the menu. On top of it all the service was far below the standard for a restaurant that calls itself the best Italian restaurant in town. After finishing the dinner we waited 25min for our plates to be cleared. Also getting the bill and being able to pay took way too long. In short all the things that made us enjoy this restaurant. Food and service has vanished except for the ambiance.
As a response to our bad experience I received a very nice personal email from the manager. I am happy to see that the restaurant is aiming to maintain the high standard and will gladly plan a new visit in the...
Read moreFive days ago, we made a reservation at this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We specifically requested a table beside the piano, and everything was confirmed. However, just two hours before our reservation, we received a WhatsApp message informing us that our table was no longer available because a group of people in that area might disturb us. With good intentions, we accepted their alternative and were given a corner table instead.
When we arrived, as we walked to our new table, I noticed that the table we had originally reserved was beautifully decorated with red flowers and other decorations. At first, I thought it might have been left that way by mistake. However, a little later, I saw another couple (a Qatari couple) being seated there. This was shocking and disappointing because it became clear that the decision to move us wasn’t about our comfort—it was about prioritizing someone else over us.
Although the restaurant apologized and offered us a free dessert, which I appreciate, I didn’t come for a free dessert—I came to give my wife a special experience. Unfortunately, being treated as less important than someone else ruined the mood of our celebration. This was truly...
