A table of 10 of us went for the business lunch at 2.30pm. The staff greeted us well and very friendly and well mannered.

We had the choice of a can of soda, a starter and a main, or a main and a dessert for 79. Alternatively, the possibility of all 3 (starter, main and dessert) for 99.

I didn’t go for all three as I was not excited by the menu. The first thing I’d like to recommend, is that you broaden your options for vegetarians.

I would’ve preferred to go for a starter and main like everyone else, but as a vegetarian I went for the gnocchi burrata main, so didn’t fancy a the burrata starter. As vegetarian starters were rather limited, I went for the dessert. A brownie.

This meant that I had to sit and wait for the other 9 to be served their starters and finish them before having my first bite.

It took 1 hour 20 minutes before I received my main. I sat there nursing a coke during that time. A staff member should have asked if I wanted my main earlier so I could start eating with the others. The other diners were all taking pity and apologising for eating without me, which is not what I wanted.

When the main course arrived 1 hour 20 minutes after sitting, I finished it within 3 minutes. It was definitely more of a starter serving. The burrata was tiny and smaller than the one included on the starter itself. The brownie was as expected, but the dessert options were pretty poor to be honest. No tiramasu, it definitely felt more like a poor man’s lunch. The ice cream another diner chose was the smallest I’ve ever seen.

I used to go to The Kitchen regularly a year or two back, but something seems to have changed. It is now usually always empty and the servings are tiny. For the rest of the menu, it is pricey and the draught beer comes in smaller than usual Sizes for a premium price.

There really is not reason to be visiting this place anymore when there are so many other options around, giving deals or decent sized portions.

I think today finally put the nail in the coffin for The...

From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by the incredible hospitality and warmth of the entire team — a special shoutout to Mesosa, Abdur Rahman, Mubarak, Meme, Ivy, Bhim, Nijin, May and many more whose names we didn’t catch but whose service was equally exceptional. Including the chefs who were superb.

The service throughout our stay was nothing short of outstanding — truly a 10/10 experience. Every single team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, delivering a level of personal attention that made each day memorable. They made special accommodations for our children and ensured that our dietary needs, including a wide range of gluten-free options, were met with ease and thoughtfulness.

As for the food — it was simply superb. From the rich variety at breakfast to the impressive spread at dinner, every meal was full of flavour, freshness, and variety. There was something for everyone, and not once were we left disappointed. You can tell that a great deal of passion and care goes into both the preparation and presentation of each dish.

What truly makes this place stand out is the team. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for every guest is what carries the heart of the restaurant. They should be incredibly proud of the exceptional experience they create each day — we certainly felt lucky to be on the receiving end of it.

An unforgettable dining experience that we’ll remember fondly — we can't...

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the Hilton, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Ramzee and Dave, truly stood out. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and attended to.

The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a wide variety of delicious options to cater to all tastes. From freshly baked pastries and perfectly cooked eggs to a delightful selection of fruits and cereals, the food quality was top-notch. Each dish was prepared with care, reflecting the high standards that Hilton is known for.

Ramzee and Dave went above and beyond to make the dining experience memorable. Their attentiveness and warm demeanor added a personal touch that elevated the entire breakfast. Whether it was quickly refilling coffee cups, offering recommendations, or simply ensuring that everyone was comfortable, their dedication to excellent service was evident.

Overall, breakfast at the Hilton was a delightful start to the day. The combination of great food and remarkable service from Ramzee and Dave made it a standout experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superior...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Kitchen in the Hilton, and I must say, Terry made the experience absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we were seated, her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident. She greeted us with a genuine smile and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the meal. Terry’s knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on. She took the time to explain each dish and even accommodated special requests with ease and grace. Her timing was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive—and she made us feel like valued guests. What truly stood out, though, was Terry’s exceptional hospitality. She had a way of making us feel at home, and her positive energy added so much to our dining experience. It’s rare to encounter someone who is not only skilled at their job but also genuinely passionate about creating memorable moments for their guests. Thank you, Terry, for your outstanding service at The Kitchen! You are a true asset to the Hilton team, and I will definitely be returning, in no small part because of you. Keep up the amazing work!
