This is my family's familiar place every time we go out to eat. Good service and pretty good food. However, eating here last night made me very uncomfortable.
After finishing dinner, we bought more food to take home. As always, give the bill to the staff and they will give us the items. We just take it away. Yesterday too. After giving me the bill, the staff gave me a packed bag of food. However, because one dish was not available yet, we had to wait. When the item was available, my husband gave me the bill and received the item. But another employee there, a man with a thin and small face, asked my husband to give me the bag he was holding in his hand to check. My husband gave it to him and he rolled his eyes and told my husband: Your bag is the big part, the bill is the small part. This part 20 QR!
Oh my God! This part of the food was still in the pre-wrapped plastic bag, we never opened it and didn't take it ourselves, we gave it the bill and the store gave it to us. But this employee acted like we were cheating! It was just 1 serving of olives but he acted like the sky was falling! Then he yelled at the guy to get us the stuff, and gathered the other employees to point fingers. What a rude act! Rude to customers and rude to colleagues! We are not at fault. So if we want to record it, we are ready but we must apologize. We didn't steal. It's your fault. He just needs to say he was wrong and will give us something else. If the employee who prepares food for us makes a mistake, he shouldn't be treated like that!
In the past, when the bill charged a shortage of water, even if it was only 2 QR, we reminded you to add it. The boss sitting at the counter on the 2nd floor knows this. The store's employees are also familiar with my family.
We know that the employee who annoyed us yesterday was only a minority, but just one incident like that made the store lose goodwill! What a terrible...
Read moreI am not kidding when I say that this is one of the best restaurants in Qatar. I recommend literally everything here. I come here all the time and the food always satisfies me here. This restaurant serves authentic Turkish food. Every made here is absolutely freshand made in-store from scratch. It is always a great idea to start with their mix appetizer plate, that consists of several types of dips, including hummus, baba ghanoush, olive salad, three different kinds of labneh including plain, one with purple cabbage and one with tomatoes. It comes with their tradition thick Arabic sesame bread. After that, always get the mix grilled kabab platter. It comes with chicken, lamb, beef or anything else that you want. This is served with their traditional tomato pste bread and garlic sauce. It is extremely delicious and nothing beats their garlic sauce. They also have all different kinds of shawarmas; something that I would always recommend in case you’re ina rush and need something quick, delicious and full-filling. But my absolute favorite thing to get from here is their fatayers/pies. All of their fatayars are made fresh to order. They all taste amazing. But after trying all of the different fatayers they offer, my favorite has to be chicken with cheese fatayers and zaatar with cheese fatayers. I can never have enough of these. It’s fresh, juicy, tasty and cheesy. This place is always busy so please be patient as you might have to wat for a few minutes to get a seat. I would recommend this place always and it’s a 10/10...
Read moreI recently visited Turkish Central Restaurant in Al Naser for dinner, and it was an excellent experience overall. The restaurant is well-known for its authentic Turkish cuisine, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a selection of dishes, including the sheesh kebab, BBQ platter, and a variety of appetizers, and every item was cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy, tender, and full of flavor, especially the sheesh kebab, which had a rich, smoky taste. The appetizers were equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal.
The portion sizes were generous, making it a perfect place to enjoy a hearty meal with family or friends. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices were reasonable, offering good value for money.
One thing to note is that the restaurant can get quite crowded, especially during dinner hours, which may lead to a short wait for a table. However, the staff managed the rush efficiently, and the service was prompt and courteous.
Located conveniently in the Al Naser area, the restaurant’s lively and casual atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience. If you’re craving delicious Turkish BBQ and kebabs, Turkish Central Restaurant is a fantastic choice. I would definitely recommend it for a satisfying and authentic...
