I’m excited to share our delightful experience at Yee Hwa with you. We recently visited this wonderful restaurant and indulged in their Set BBQ 🍖, which came with unlimited side dishes 🥗 and even included a soothing cup of tea 🍵 after the meal!

Food & Flavors: The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was bursting with rich flavors and perfectly prepared. Every bite reflected the chef’s passion and attention to detail, making it a true feast for the senses 😋.

Outstanding Service: A special mention goes to Melda our server, whose excellent communication skills and jolly personality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. His warm and attentive service added a personal touch that truly set the tone for our visit 😊. The entire staff exuded friendliness and professionalism, ensuring that every moment was memorable.

Ambiance & Atmosphere: Yee Hwa’s ambiance is another highlight. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred setting. I had a good dining experience overall. They are short-staffed for sure because it took a while to get things even with pressing buttons and it was after lunch rush hour. Everyone is very busy and has a lot of requests that it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet.

My only complaint was that we had to wait a while to place repeat orders and receive drinks which wasn’t a deal breaker but many times our requests were forgotten and needed reminding. My server was great though very nice and polite.

The brisket is always my favorite but you get a set menu with different types of beef and chicken. And you can only get repeat orders of the same set. I think that’s just their system. The sushi was surprisingly of good quality and I was impressed with the portion and presentation of them. Big props to the sushi chef.

I’d return for bbq again. They also give complimentary ice cream; matcha or vanilla cone- my vanilla cone was stale/soggy I was very disappointed because I looked forward to the treat. It seems that it was temperature abused during the shipment.

The Japchae was perfectly cooked — the glass noodles were soft yet chewy, coated in a slightly sweet and savory soy-based sauce. The mix of vegetables (60% vegetables and 40% noodles 🤣) and tender beef made every bite satisfying, and the sesame aroma tied everything together beautifully.

The Dynamite Sushi was an absolute standout! Each roll had that creamy, spicy kick that wakes up your taste buds without being overwhelming. The balance of flavors — the crunch from the topping, the smoothness of the mayo, and the freshness of the fish — made it totally addictive.

And of course, the Tempura was light and crisp, not greasy at all. The batter was airy and golden, perfectly coating the shrimp and vegetables. Dipping it into the tempura sauce added the right touch of umami that completed the whole meal.

Overall, it was a wonderful mix of textures and flavors — from the comforting chewiness of Japchae to the heat of the Dynamite Sushi and the crunch of the Tempura. Definitely a meal worth coming back for!
