Definitely one of the best ciorba de burta I have ever had the pleasure of tasting! They also serve "ciorba de fasole cu ciolan in paine", and it's definitely something I'll be eager to try on my next visit to...
Read moreWe brang our Czech friend at Hanul Dacilor on 7th of August to try “ciorba de fasole in paine” a traditional Transylvanian dish. Unfortunately I’m totally dissapointed that they are not using the bone smoked meat that is used in the traditional receipe and rather using a processed ham type of meat. Manager Adrian Hoptu came, and tried to walk me through with a cocky attitude that this is bone meat and asking me why im eating it if i dont like it.(I’m eating it because I’m starving but it’s not what your restaurant is advertising dear manager) I think the photo says it all. Altough the server was super nice, reason why i rate two stars instead of one. Would rate it 3* if the manager...

So, if you have a child with you ( as we did) and you want to know wether the meat is fried or grilled, good luck with that! Never mind the blandest, tasteless food. A few tiny pieces of chicken ( boiled and very salty) covered by a pile of vegetables( without a single pinch of salt) that were clearly bought frozen and then just heated. I also got the pickle of the day on my plate: four shreds of cabbage. I counted them. It was a mockery. And my friends have their own stories to tell. Dining out has always been a nice experience for me. This restaurant is the exception...
