I wish i liked the experience, but alas. It is a nice enough place with particular pizzas, but unfortunately this precise “particularity” is what I did not like.
In my various visits, I tried the pizza with plum, the pizza with pear and the pizza with salmon and broccoli. Nothing stroked me as fancy. All pizzas look amazing, but the taste is not there.
This time we tried the pizza with shrimp and mozzarella di bufala, was a bit disappointed as the dough became wet due to the still wet rucola and tomatoes. To me, the pizza seemed aesthetically pleasing, but quite tasteless, yet my company did not mind, so maybe it was just me. We also tried the slices of the vegetarian and the slices with ham and mushrooms. They were quite good. The portions are really huge. The prices are 700 hundred rubles with something for a small (but not so small) pizza.
Tried also the soup with seafood, it was of perfect temperature, but again, it seemed tasteless. The seafood was cooked nicely, but i think it could do with more seasoning.
The service was quite average, we had a really nice guy and a girl, that took one of our plates before we finished eating. So in the end one of us had a plate, the other had to use a napkin. Then the cleaning lady decided to intensively clean right before and under our table for some time.
To summarize, the place is not per se the traditional pizza that you are used to, but a more modern twist. There are various exotic tastes that if you are more of a conservative in food (like me), you will not like. If you want to try something new and unusual-...
Read moreYay for the cold coffee with fresh orange juice! Definitely my favorite so far in Moscow! The place is big with few different rooms, and even though it is busy, usually you can get a table, if you are lucky enough. Amazing that they have pizza on different dough - rice and dark, really good one, haven’t seen this in Moscow yet! We had four cheese pizza, and I would say that Gorgonzola was too strong, making the rest of the ingredients less tasty, so it felt more like one cheese pizza. Frappe is way too sweet, like too hard to drink sweet.
Oh it was good until the other table stood up and run away and we saw a cockroach cruising next...
Read moreIf you feel that finding a good pizza in Russia is a problem, try this one. It's close to what one might get in Italy. Food: quite tasty, enormous portions, puffy dough. Music: not irritating. Interiours: nice and even fancy (well, yeah, it's the city centre). Like Rome - always something modern and vivid in the ancient wrapping, which is very comforting if you miss Europe. Staff: obliging. Drawbacks: high prices (a slice of pizza for as much as half of it would cost in Rome), crazy expensive and unnecessarily fancy drinks, though they too can be well-made. Conclusion: go there if you need a filling, delicious bite in a...
