The decor is beautiful and colourful, with a lot of attention to detail. The music playing in the background is nodern Indian music quite pleasant to listen to. The staff, when we went there, were all Russians dressed in beautiful Indian outfits. They were also polite and spoke some English. As an Indian food lover I couldn’t avoid visiting top scored Indian restaurant while visiting Kazan. I must admit the food was ok, but unfortunately it has very little to do with the real Indian food. We ordered samosas, butter chicken and rice. Chicken was ok, a bit too sweet to me and missing some traditional Indian spices. I did not find Lamb Rogan Josh on the menu, my absolute favourite Indian food. That was unfortunate. Probably I am lucky living along side Indian community in England so I can appreciate good Indian food and service. Alas here the restaurant was found wanting, the restaurant was not that busy yet it took 10 minutes to have our order taken another 10 minutes for our drinks to be served. Having ordered a ghost korma with 2 naan breads, I received the korma with only 1 naan, I had to wait for he 2nd because they have only one tandoor, the food was passable but not exciting.
