Bochka — Restaurant in Presnensky District

Very cozy and nice interior. Menu has all kind of meat specialities (of course steaks of all sorts). Only thing missing is a burger or some vegetarian dishes. Quality of the food was very good. The big disappointment was the service. I can understand that English is not a prerequisite in Moscow, but the speed of service and attention was disastrous. We were a party of five. Three ordered small dishes, two ordered the big beer platter. The smaller dishes arrived after 10-15 minutes, the big platter after several requests only 45 minutes after we ordered. This is a very cool restaurant. They been around for a few decades, and specialize in meat. Every friday they offer free veal tasting to guests, which is lrepared in a special way. Обычно заходим в «Казбек», но решили в этот раз в «Бочку» зайти, посмотрели рейтинг вроде 4,7 - все хорошо. Зашли, никто не встретил, не поздоровался. Стояли минут 5 и наконец нас заметили!!! К нам подошел официант, даже не поздоровался «пройдемте за стол». Дали меню, много блюд.. выбрали и снова ждем долго когда же к нам подойдут. Был не вечер, совсем мало народу и официанты стояли кучкой что-то обсуждали. Заказала я «настоящие пельмени» ну и свежий салат из овощей. Салат принесли сначала, затем пельмени. Пельмени оказались очень жирными и я решила есть пельмешки и параллельно закусывать салатиком ( огурчики, помидорки свежие и зелень). Сижу ем, разговариваем с коллегами из моего носа официант уносит салат, не спросив.. что за дела?! Ни разу не подошли не спросили «понравилось ли вам все? Все в порядке?»..
