Billy's Bistro & Bar — Restaurant in Kigali City

First of all. The manager is rude. Do not go there for groups. Bad service. The management is the worst. We came here on Valentine's day as a group of 4 couples. They had a fixed menu. Only one choice for food, nothing more.

Very limiting but we decided to go with it. We ordered 6 of their full course. The waiter told us it would take 40 minutes to prepare a one course menu. Fine. We decided. Lets go ahead.

After ordering the waiter told us the chef had said since we were 8. We had to get 8 orders, as a rule. We asked to talk to the manager. He came. Simply talked over us before we could explain what we were saying. Didnt even want to listen. After as we were still talking he walked away.

Great value for money, I would dare say they are at least in the top 3 lunch places in Kigali. They are the only place I know that checks all the (lunch)boxes: very affordable, around 7k for 2 courses +all you can eat salad bar, which in itself is already awesome, and about 12k for 5 courses, with a set weekly menu with 2 choices per course (great veggie options as well), always supernice food, great views and nicely decorated, great location, even nice music. Restaurant with fancy and well decorated interiors, with classy cutlery and crockery ! They have decent cocktails and live band playing on Fridays. We have been here twice for their themed night called "Fancy Friday".Our first visit was so impressive with well presented dishes which were equally tasty. Second visit not so much, however we gave our honest feedback on their flaws. Hope they will rectify them asap and regain our confidence in them. .......................
