Khana Khazana Nyarutarama — Restaurant in Kigali City

First of all the food, it came unusually fast so definitely not cooked when we had ordered, that being said, chicken was tender, taste wise it was fine without more really, I wouldn't make a detour for it. So, this was below expectations considering the avg reviews score.

Service wise it's a bit of a classic story, plenty of waiters yet if you need something they look but don't come or they take an order and then disappear...

The garlic naan we ordered came when I had 80% of my dish finished!!?? We were trying to order a new drink for 15 min if not more and if the place would be crowded, I d understand yet it wasn't that crowded and there was a supervisor lady who should follow up on the service, she stared at least 5 times at our table before she finally came to ask if everything was fine but then she didn't control the situation, she was asking what she could do but didn't really listen. She could only share that the manager was off today LOL.

When the bill came I had to ask them !twice! to remove items that we didn't order.

Atmosphere wise, not much to say, nothing special, the other location is probably a better catch for the atmosphere.

I see no reason to come back...

Visited the place with my South African colleague for dinner. The restaurant is located in the hotel. The ambiance is nice and there is big area. You can sit indoor or outdoor.

Service is fine. Staff can speak English but need more training and few of them were struggling and brought wrong order. They should reconfirm with guest.

The food was good but can not say wow experience. The ingredients were fresh. It will take sometime to get order as the place is busy.

We visit the restaurant most frequently, however this evening was the worst experience of having tasteless food and lathergy in hospitality, that is not acceptable and even not expected from this famous restaurent. A group of 6 people including foreign guest went for dinner and food items were served very late and most of them are neither having adequate level of salt, was not at all tasty in compare to several visits of past. On spot we talked to the manager and given detailed feedback. We expect restaurent will take the feedback seriously and take the needful actions to improve, else there are several Indian restaurants presently ready for giving tough competition in...
