Ikigai — Restaurant in Kigali City

I accidentally went there during my visit to Rwanda. Pretty frankly I saw the outside board and thought it’s Japanees place, only to find out it was not 🤣 the ambiance was pretty chill, they had live music, two young talents kept us entertained the entire time. I tried their BBQ ( I specifically asked to make it spicy) as I was missing my south Asian home food, and the chef understood the assignment. The staff was sweet and polite. I recently dined at the restaurant today, and I wanted to share my experience. The restaurant's location next to a school made it quite loud, which made it challenging to have a peaceful meal. Additionally, the kitchen's smoke from the woods was quite unpleasant for the customers. One drawback was that the waiters weren't always readily available when needed.

It is nice place to chil in evening after long hours of work. They take positively the feedback. I have been at this place several evenings and I have seen a lot of positive changes from taken feedback.
