My wife and I visited Kigali for a convention in August and a friend suggested Four Points by Sheraton as the only option for our 10 night stay. We arrived at the hotel close to 11pm. Within 15 minutes, in just the first two staff interactions, we knew we were in the right place. ||First and foremost, Marcel assisted us with check in and showed the upmost professionalism and warmth as he gave us a warm welcome on behalf - not only of the hotel - but the entire country. It was a beautiful introduction that set the tone for everything that followed. Each day that Marcel was present at the front desk he made sure to check we had everything we needed and corrected a few minor issues we had in our room promptly. His smile lights up the lobby. We at one point saw a very rude hotel guest approach the front desk demanding to speak to a manager regarding an issue at one of the restaurants. Marcel handled the interaction with haste and sincerity despite the guest's misplaced aggression. I truly appreciate him and hope that every manager and owner take note as (with no exaggeration) his presence almost single handedly is responsible for our satisfaction with our stay from beginning to end. ||Our second interaction and most consistent staff member to assist us, being the bellhop to handle our arrival, several small items through our stay and handle our baggage at check out was Brillant. We walked away from check in with Marcel and Brillant escorted us to our room. His beaming disposition showed us that the standard for service here is top tier. He showed an eagerness that was refreshing and we were so thankful for his kindness and helpfulness. Once again, management please take note and nurture this stellar team member with incentivized growth and upward mobility. ||A thank you can be said for each of the security, restaurant staff, housekeeping, and other front desk team members that made our stay complete. All in all, the hotel was modern, in good repair, and spacious. Our room was very comfortable and felt like a nice apartment for our long stay. We look forward to returning when we find ourselves...

I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Kigali, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The combination of modern amenities, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly enjoyable. Highlights of My Stay: Exceptional Hospitality: The staff at Four Points were warm, professional, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, they ensured that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. Their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Comfortable Accommodations: My room was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The bed was plush, and the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, a coffee maker, and quality toiletries added to the overall experience. The room also offered a stunning view of Kigali's vibrant cityscape. Impressive Facilities: The hotel boasts modern and well-maintained facilities. The rooftop bar was a standout feature, offering a great ambiance and panoramic views of the city – a perfect spot to unwind in the evening. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the pool area provided a serene space to relax. Delicious Dining: The on-site dining options were fantastic, with a variety of dishes to cater to different tastes. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with a range of fresh and flavorful options to start the day on a high note. FANTASTIC hotel. I loved my stay here. Very modern, great decor with local art and influences. The bar was a great place to work during the day and relax later. The gym is the most modern and well-maintained I've seen in a hotel recently. The pool area is simple with comfortable seating and loungers. The breakfast buffet is extensive. Avoid the set lunch buffet - overpriced and average. The food won't amaze you (I don't think food/gastronomy is Kigali's strong point) but the service will. Donna will make your check-in/out easy and warm. Nathan will make you great cappuccinos or hot dawa, Solange will brighten your day with a smile and extra attentiveness, and Emmanuel will be warm and friendly. I used the same taxi driver at the hotel for the duration of my stay, Felicien was friendly, knowledgeable, drove well, always on time and made great recommendations. Great security, too. Go for the accommodation, location and facilities, return for the brilliant staff. If I return to Kigali I will stay here because the staff are exceptional!

A week stay in Kigali in 4 point by Sheraton. It is a new hotel which needs to learn allot. So the first impression about the front desk is that they are not well coordinated at their internal team level at all. They are not well informed about the guests and on change of person at reception desk, the guest information or requests are not formally handed over to next person. The airport pick service can cost you up to $ 75 which is abnormally hight you can have a good local taxi in $20 or 25. Food is cooked well, but limited buffet menu options and they keep it same day after day, so get crazy and you really want to find some food outside. Biggest problem with rooms is that the toilets don't have showers besides the toilet seat, if you prefer to wash it, it's a challenge. The a great inconvenience for specially Muslim guests and it becomes difficult to do Ablution/Wadoo to offer prayers. If any thing is committed to you by any duty clerk on reception, you will not get the same service if the person is changed.
