Easy Bakery — Restaurant in Al Maathar Municipality

First time here and loved it. Place is spacious and has a good amount of seating but it can get very hard to find a seat as it’s always packed. Great place for some solo work or simply to grab a quick bite alone or with company.

I tried the cheddar croissant and the scrambled eggs & avocado sourdough which were both really good. Their iced Spanish latte was okay. I didn’t like that the condensed milk was sitting at the bottom of the drink, i would prefer if they premixed it with the espresso before adding the ice and milk to avoid that thick layer at the bottom.

انا زبونة دائمة لجميع فروع ايزي بيكري و اذا مازرت محلاتهم طلبت للبيت. اليوم في زيارتي لفرع تركي سكوير طلبت كوكيز كعادتي و هذا المنظر اللي وصلني فيه، الشوكولاته يابسة و متجمدة و عجينة الكوكيز متيبسة و واضح انها صار لها وقت و احتمال يوم لأن الشوكولاتة لما تتجمد بهذي الطريقة ومحافظة على شكلها الحلقي من الداخل معناها صار لها وقت، كلمتهم يسخنونها قالوا ماعندنا تسخين قلت لهم واضح شكلها قديم الكوكيز ما يجمد لهذه الدرجة اذا كان فريش قالوا لي صار لنا مسوينه اقل من ساعة!!! اقل من ساعة و جامد بهذا المنظر؟ غريب!! الا اذا كانوا يحفظونه بالثلاجة بعد الخبز ممكن يكون هذا عذرهم اما ما صار لها الا ساعة هذه تنقيص بحق عقليتي! و الأغرب رفضهم للتسخين! من ابسط حقوقي انه يتسخن بالذات اني ما طلبت تبديل للكوكيز بحبه جديدة.

I’m a loyal customer of all branches of easy Bakery. If I’m not visiting in person, I’m ordering to my home. Today, during my visit to the Turki Square branch, I ordered cookies as I usually do, but this is what I received. The chocolate was stiff and hardened, and the cookie dough was dry and clearly not fresh. It looked like it had been sitting out for a while, possibly even a day. When chocolate solidifies in this way and retains its ring shape on the inside, it’s a clear sign it’s been sitting too long.

I asked the staff to warm it up, but they said they don’t offer reheating. I pointed out how old it looked, and mentioned that cookies don’t get this hard if they’re fresh. Their response? “It was baked less than an hour ago!” Less than an hour and it’s already this stiff? That’s hard to believe !! unless they’re refrigerating them after baking, which might be the explanation. But to claim it was just made an hour ago is frankly insulting to my understanding.

The place is spacious with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Their croissants are very good soft and airy on the inside, perfectly crisp on the outside. I’m absolutely in love with them. Unfortunately, my last visit was let down by poor customer service. The staff seemed gloomy and inattentive, carelessly tossing the pastries into the bag without offering cutlery or even napkins. A simple smile or a cheerful “good morning” can go a long way in making customers feel welcome and encouraging them to return.
