The Bay Indian Restaurant has quickly become one of my go-to spots for authentic Indian cuisine in Jeddah. Their menu offers a diverse range of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by their butter chicken and butter shrimp. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the accompanying breads were perfectly cooked. However, while I enjoyed most of my experience, I must note that the Rogan Josh was a disappointment. My friend and I both found it to be lacking in flavor compared to the Rogan Josh we've had at other Indian restaurants, including a different branch of the same restaurant located in Quraish Street. One area where I believe the Bay could improve is their drinks. They tend to be excessively sweet, and I think reducing the amount of sugar used would enhance the overall taste experience. Despite this minor critique, I would still highly recommend The Bay Indian Restaurant. It offers excellent value for money and consistently delivers delicious food. As we walked into the restaurant, we were informed by staff that the place is full. Nothing was said about a waiting list. However, after waiting for a few minutes, a table was freed, which we occupied. While we waited for the table to be cleaned, a staff member asked us to give up our table for another family. I was confused so I asked the staff what's going and, and he said that the table was for a family that had arrived before us and registered on a waiting list. We were then informed that we would have to register on the waiting list and wait a further half hour before we can sit and order. I explained to them, that I was never told about this waiting list but the staff were unwilling to give us the table. I think this was a very bad case of miscommunication and I also think it's extremely disrespectful to ask a family to leave a table after they have seated. We left the place as we didn't have the time to wait....

I recently dined at an Indian restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. The service provided by ELIAS was exceptional - attentive, friendly, and efficient. Not only did they make me feel welcome, but they also went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience.

The prices at this restaurant are quite reasonable considering the high quality of food and service offered. It’s refreshing to find a place that offers such value for money without compromising on the overall experience.

Speaking of the food, I must say the masala dishes were absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic.
