CRIBS OF RIBS — Restaurant in Makkah Region

○The restaurant had wonderful ambience, and customer service. Me and my mother got food to go, and sat in the restaurant to wait for my friend to arrive at the Cafe next door, so we came back home reheated the food. ○ For around 87 riyals we got two briskets, a small glass jar of honey, three slices of a pickle, sauce, and buttered toast, all in a box. This in my opinion is worth the money. Although I think I could've gotten a little more in the proportion side of things, considering the type of produce served, the price makes sense. BUT ofcourse if you are looking to be mindful of your money you can't be coming here everyday. ○ The amount of food is enough for one person, or two people, If you have a moderatly smaller appetite. (we split it between three people because we just wanted to taste it) ○Altough I think the brisket could have been seasoned slightly more (we drizzled a bit of lemon on ours) , it was cooked perfectly with a tasty proportion of protein to fat. It was the best meat we ate from a western style food place hahaha (As you can tell from my previous reviews I'm not a big fan of western food). ○ I was hesitant of eating the honey we were given but after I mixed it with the sauce, I completely understood why.

Overall it's worth a visit, and I hope to visit again inshallah! :^)

First visit .. soft opening

Interior and environment: The place has 2 floors, first has 3 bench tables with multiple seats, 2nd has multiple tables Decoration is nice, music in the background, although you notice some of boxes behind the walls.

Staff and service : Friendly and helping But my order has been mixed and delayed for packaging.

Food : So I order the fries brisket, rocket brisket, and their special cribs of ribs sandwich. Fries brisket was good, well seasoned fries with good brisket to fries ratio. but brisket was over seasoned, topped with their special sauce and cheese which was heavy. Rocket brisket; the brioche was a bit dry, filling was a bit small too. I would rather cheese slice over the sauce, with adding of barbecue sauce. cribs of ribs was the star, It was delicious, loved how they put the cranberry’s sauce on the side so you can add it. Soft brioche bun, well seasoned. I would recommend adding barbecue or ketchup if you’re not a cranberry sauce fan.

Prices : High considering the quantity, the quality is good, but it comparable to other places with lower prices.

Overall; Nice experience, it wasn’t bad. A bit overpriced. I guess it’s early to judge considering this is only a...

I gave the restaurant 2 chances

First one was before COVID-19 lockdown where i had the chance to dine in

1. the meat was cold
2. the spices are really too much that u dont enjoy the taste of the meat by itself
3. they replaced the dish with another cold one
4. they dont think they did anything wrong

In the end they told me that its still a soft opening and that they r improving

Fast forward to april 2020

I had a delivery order of sandwiches rather than the meat order

1. first the driver asks me to go meet him in the street which is not ok during lockdown, and he then says why am i not meeting him in the street.
2. the sandwiches were delivered cold as well
3. the amount of meat in the bread is really small. It was as if i was eating a bread.
4. the meat spices are still too much
5. the fries was good and it actually had more brisket beef than the sandwich which i took the empty breads and ate the brisket with it.

In general, i do not recommend it, for paying that much i expect a top quality service and meat instead they r not very gd at it and i wont be visiting them nor recommending them anytime...
