Usually I don’t review a restaurant if service and food was between good to excellent and above 70% of quality of same restaurants league. But this review is out of love to Texas Roadhouse and hopefully they can be changed from poor and mediocre to excellent as other branches do.
at first I start to like Texas Roadhouse from different visits to Abo Dhabi branch with excellent service and great meat every time, but what at shock after almost 3 bad to mediocre services in a raw at Jeddah branch, My ordering was a T-bone steak and previously a bone n ribeye always medium-well and always it is a bargain with waiters about how medium rare it is and almost copy paste answers about the bone position every time, if yours Chef can’t handle stake with a bone he should not provide it, Texas Roadhouse not the only place served this type of steak and not the first nor the last , if steak 70% pink in meddle not the bone side and your waiter said medium well as a Texas Roadhouse service expert it is bad news to your restaurant.
My guess honestly in the bad 3 visits is that stake done for someone else or someone else changed his mind and they serve me his stake, or they leave to rest for some good time on a rack, as the plate is hotter than stake, I need you to explain how is that possible the plate hotter than the long cooked stake!!
About 6 time I visited Jeddah Texas Roadhouse I think in 4 visits went poor and bland taste and 2 visits were good.
if you are a meat lover and regular stake house’s visitors in general. Here is my advice to you:
Do not aruge with waiters about how done is your stake “that enough could ruin your evening” so spares your self the truble and eat what ever waiters gives you and try to enjoy it.
Don’t lift your hopes up nor ordering any bone stake. And you will be safe and Bon appétit.
For Texas Roadhouse SA. management my advice is:
1- you need to regularly send a “mystery shopper” to evaluate this branch at different times specially the rush hours.
2- educated all waiters again about meat donenees and stress handling as they seems to take my opinion about how my meat is done personally as my description meets the meat degree of donenees paper they are holding. and improveme the communication between kitchen and waiters and make it safe and easy process to return meat.
3- After reading some reviews have same issue as me and the looks at their pictures and my past experiences, the issue could by the coldness of steak befor cooking should by room temperature not frozen or just out of refrigerator and this should be common sense for all Chefs. I don’t know about yours!
4- I don’t guess you do this but if you do; please don’t charge the chef the waste meat if he is the reason or he over cook it, as it feels like he scare to over done meat too much so he is under cooked meat and this happening in most of my experience visiting Texas Roadhouse.
5- do not push the loyalty program too much if costumer state the he is not interested the offering should stop. No point of continuing speaking the benefits nor the money Cash back going to receive from the current bill cash back rewards. It is a silly please stop it. The board of the same offer on the table from seating to end and if costumer interested he will ask or listen to the waiters offer but if not please stop it, don’t push it.
I guess after all this I will have to sign this mail..
Have a good...

Texas Roadhouse surprised me a lot with great excellent service of the team during extremely busy hours.
I usually don’t like to go out dinner in weekend as most restaurants are busy and services quality get lower normally especially if that services steak and beef; however, the opposite occur here.
Although Texas was very busy we didn’t feel it at all.
The quality of the food which is hard to prepare came very fresh and in fast manner; the staff where very friendly and know how to professionally deal with kids and families. Also, they make sure guests and families are comfortable which is something deserves a respect.
There are many places that serves good food and nice atmosphere but very few that remain excellent during rush hours in weekend
I been there in Friday night with my family and cousins with many kids included Friday 28 June. What’s surprising is that the place was very busy and many families with their kids were there; however, the team were very professional.
Not only this food, appetiser and the intro bread came in a speedy time.
Although as family with kids we keep requesting that staff many things (extra napkins, sauces and order specifics) they always answer us with smile.
The teams seem to be very professional with very high level of attitude. Everything from the door entery tell we finished was well planned.
Those five stars rating which I rare give to restaurants is not only about food quality and atmosphere but how they keep perfection, speed and food quality during busy hours like this.
Thus, I want to thank all the staff whom handled our table, the cooking teams for their high-quality service with speed and for management for ensuring this high-standard in busy hours.
If the service was perfect in Friday busy night then 5 stars are earned.
I really respect that they put this effort and maintain high-quality standard and speed while serving many families with kids and make sure they keep-up with all their needs and requirements.
My experience today at Texas is among very few where I can say I didn’t regret spending money because the team and management did everything possible to ensure our time is comfortable and our food is great.
Regards if you like the type of Menue Texas serves or not; it’s team from all levels management do respect customers and do 100% effort to provide you quality experience.

Extremely bad and expensive Low quality rubber like steaks with nearly zero marbling. Don’t be fooled by the appetizers & cinnamon bread the steaks are just horrible. The waiters lack knowledge of steaks.
What is going on with our steakhouses in Jeddah? The meat Quality is like A2 or Probably A1. I ordered the ribeye and the fillet steaks. There were absolutely no marbling on the fillet steaks. Please take a good look at the picture, its just water from the steaks you can brealy notice the fats. I took a paper towel placed it on the steak, pressed down and just water came out, it dried up five minutes later. I spit it all out from the first bite. It was unpleasant and awful. The ribeye steak was a bit better with a small amount of fats, it might be an A2 grade with fats near the bone but again, with almost zero marbling. I asked the waiter what grade it was, he said it was Australian, which didn’t answer my question, so I asked him again, what is the grade of the meat he said I’m gonna go ask my supervisor because I don't know ( basic steak knowledge) and he came back stating that it’s an "A" grade. obviously they didn’t know what grade or didn’t want to tell me which grade it was. Nevertheless, he was Nice and cooperative but they teach them how to avoid these kind of questions. I asked the waiter what is the best way to cook the steaks he said medium well and I was Brought a medium rare cooked steak and when I asked The waiter about it, he said let me re-cook it.
if you re-cook a steak it’s no longer a steak.
it is quite sad that a well-known restaurant like Texas roadhouse is fooling people by appetizers and the size of the meats which again has almost zero marbling. honestly the chefs need to know how to cook to order.
After all this, I paid SAR 499 for steaks that was left for the cats near the dumpster. What a waste of money.
My recommendation is to avoid this steakhouse at all costs if you want to eat good quality steaks.
You will not find good quality steaks here.
