Swiss Butter - Le Mall — Restaurant in Makkah Region

I came to this place 2 times on separate occasions however both times I was unable to go in due to the application they are using called “Re-Que”.

The first time, I book a table, wait my turn, and when it’s time for my booking it takes me out of the application and tells me to re-que again. Wasted time trying to explain to the employees as they were dismissive and offered no help. I left and went to another place to eat.

The second time, i’m on the way to the location, and my turn comes, an employee from Swiss Butter calls me and tells me my table is ready even though on the application my turn shows as (#3). I tell him i’m 10 minutes away, and he says it’s okay it takes 10 minutes to prepare the table. I tell him i’m on my way and that i’m unable to (move back) on the app bc it says i’m not (#1) yet.

Exactly 10 minutes later i’m in front of swiss butter and they cancel my registration even though it shows i’m (#3). I call back the same number in front of door and see an employee pick up the phone (different voice from who called me in the car) and I told him I’m in front of the door and tell him about the employee who called me and told me to come, he says no you’re table is gone and you have to re-que again.

What’s the point of having the worst reservation application i’ve ever experienced in my life. Employees support was extremely dissatisfying.

I recently dined at the restaurant and it left me absolutely delighted with their offerings. The star of the show was undoubtedly their steak cooked in a decadent butter sauce. It was a culinary masterpiece, tender and succulent, with the butter sauce imparting a rich, velvety flavor that was nothing short of divine. The steak melted in my mouth, and I couldn't get enough of the exquisite taste.

But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional service provided by their kind and attentive crew. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel like a valued guest. The waitstaff was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about the food they were serving. They were happy to answer any questions and offered great recommendations.

The place itself doesn’t look so comfy. Very noisy as the walls are so high so sounds echo and get doubled to the ear. No variety of dishes. Menu as in display is poorly produced so the waiter has to stand for 10 minutes to explain the difference between Brazilian beef and Australian which will cost higher than 88 per person. No burgers, no briskets. So u are stuck between beef , chicken, or salmon. Baked potatoes come unflavored and the waiter told me we won’t even add butter to it!!!! So where for heaven’s sake is the“ Swiss Butter”? The meat was ok and tender but the sauce was a mix of minimal butter with mustard and a pinch of gravy. Only a cup of each: mayo , mustard, ketchup is served on a table of four. Pepsi is just a small bottle 250 gms served! No refills for sure. Seats are so uncomfortable: plastic poor ones with aluminum like tables. After we finish no one offered us wet wipes or tooth picks as a complement. 4 persons we paid 390 sr for almost very bland meat that has no special taste. I don’t recommend nor will i visit again.
