I had a great dining experience at Da Kekou ,previously named Golden palace restaurant(reopened)

What all we had :) Schezwan Chicken soup was the best , A well-balanced Schezwan soup can really hit the spot. The heat with just the right touch of sweetness makes it so satisfying.

The crispy spring rolls were another highlight,crunchy on the outside and packed with flavor inside. We had fish in dakekou sauce sizzler,with the fish being the main star of the dish the sizzle added more aroma making it an amazing experience! Not to forget , we also had Chicken Hakka Noodles which were great too and full of flovors.

The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Portion sizes were generous, and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. While the prices are higher than average, the quality makes it well worth it. You really do get what you pay for—everything was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. once the food arrived, it was clear that the 💰 was justified. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Amazing first time experience at this place. This is hands down one of the best customer service I've experienced in Jeddah. Kudos to the servers who were very polite and friendly. Food was served quick and hot. We tried their fried dried beef which was quite spectacular and unique as we've never tried anything like that. Noodles also tasted authentic and not 'heavy'. Moreover, we also tried their fish with da kekou sauce and the chop suey which gave this 'home' feeling as asians we usually cook this kind of food. The fried banana with ice cream was also good but they could improve the quality of the ice cream in respect to the price. Furthermore, the ambience of this place felt very authentic as a chinese restaurant yet simple. Spectacular interior design with the main colour as red. Kudos to the Architect/Interior design. Another plus point is the elevator which is helpful for the elderly/disabled.
