Zaytonay Bay — Restaurant in Makkah Region

I was incredibly disappointed to say the least. I didn’t mind the 45mins we waited for a table, and the best part about the place was the manager who was incredibly kind. Aside from from that - the service was absolutely abhorrent. Upon being seated, we were told to scan the QR code for the menu - No one indicated to us that we couldn’t actually order off of the menu but only could order the breakfast offer. We would’ve been able to spend more money there, had we been able to order what we wished. The breakfast offer is fine, but it wasn’t what we were looking for at 12o’clock in the afternoon… You can only order off the menu after 1 PM, according to our server.

Not only was the server insolent during his time taking our order but he also almost forgot to take my drink order… I literally had to remind him that I had not given him my drink yet, as he began to repeat our order back to us. Moving forward we ordered two of the breakfast offers, french fries, cheese manakeesh, iced caramel macchiato, iced Spanish latte and an orange juice. When they brought out the drinks, they brought the ice caramel macchiato and the orange juice first... and yet there was still zero sign of my Spanish latte, which I ended up having to call someone over and ask about. When our food came we were missing one piece from one of the breakfast servings (the baked feta and cheese plate) and we NEVER received the cheese manakeesh. Throughout the entire meal, no one ever came to check on us… No one ever asked how the food was.. Nothing.

Maybe this place is more for Shisha, I don’t know but I was extremely disappointed because I had really been looking forward to...
