Visited this Turkish restaurant for lunch, and I must confess, it is truly the finest Turkish restaurant in the j-town. The kebabs and lamb chops I ordered were beyond words—mouthwatering, delicious, and bursting with flavor. The juiciness and yumminess of the lamb chops were simply outstanding.
What impressed me even more was the thoughtful touch of serving complimentary tea and a delightful sweet treat at the end of the meal. The milk cake topped with caramel was an absolute delight. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, not overwhelming but just right. I couldn't help but love every aspect of this restaurant, except for one notable drawback: the prices. They are excessively high, to say the least.
If you visit in a group, the cost might be slightly more reasonable, and you'll have the opportunity to sample a wider variety of dishes. However, if you happen to dine alone or with just one other person, be prepared for a significant dent in your wallet. Nevertheless, I must emphasize that the taste alone makes it worth the expense. That being said, it's important to note that the quantity of food provided is quite small considering the prices they charge. Price is a significant factor to consider here, and it's the primary reason I cannot award it a perfect 5/5 rating.
On a positive note, the restaurant maintains a clean and tidy environment, and the waiters are kind, welcoming, and attentive. The overall ambiance is quite pleasant, enhancing the dining experience. Additionally, the inclusion of complementary tea and dessert adds a thoughtful touch and contributes to the overall enjoyment of the visit.

We came in and were directed to our table and we waited 10 minutes and they still didn't bring us the menus. When we called one of the waiters and asked him where the menus were, he pointed in our direction and told us to scan the QR code, but there wasn't a banner on our table. We had to call the waiter again and tell him there wasn't one and then he finally brought it. Getting the menu alone took at least 15 minutes, only to realize the whole thing was in Arabic.
We made it work and ordered the food. Which came in time, but we had to call them and ask them to bring the bread, which is a staple in restaurants like these. We had to remind them to bring the drinks as well, which took like 10 minutes to get to the table, when drinks are the first things that should be served.
We came here Latif Doner had closed down, and so we wanted to try this place. Turns out Latif Doner, Saraya Latif and the restaurant that occupies Latif Doner's building are all run by the same company. The experience here however, was not even remotely as good as...
Read moreIn Jeddah we have variety of Turkish Restaurants, and each one differentiates itself from another, from different dishes to its different taste to its ambience.
They all might have a similar items as well like Mixed Grill... Found at almost all of them, but they dont taste the same and are served in their own ways. Sometimes with rice, and sometimes just the meat.
Starting from the ambience, it was just good enough. The temperature was too cold ❄.
Started with mixed colorful appetizer, variety of items, served with bread was nice. 7/10
Mixed Grill, Lamb Chops and Eggplant 🍆 Kabab was what we ordered for main. The serving size might look big enough but I think for that price its quite inadequate. All red meat was lamb and lamb tends to release more oil so all items were fatty n oily. Which tasted good. Taste 7/10
I Loved the dessert. Complementary cakes and icecream baqlava was too good. 9/10
I think I'll visit this place again for...
