Buffalo Wings & Rings — Restaurant in Municipality of Al Shamal

We recently visited this fast food restaurant and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations due to some miscommunication and confusion during the ordering process.

To start with the positive, the Filipino staff member (receipt shows the name Jeffrey) who assisted us was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, there seemed to be a lack of clarity when it came to explaining the menu. For example, when we asked about the taco options, he mentioned there were “three,” which we later understood to mean three flavours. He also mentioned that each order comes with two tacos, which was clear enough.

At one point, I inquired whether we could mix flavours within an order, and he confirmed that we could. However, when it came time to place the actual order, there was significant confusion. He seemed uncertain about the number of orders we were placing and asked if we wanted four in total, which wasn’t the case. This back-and-forth made the process unnecessarily frustrating for what should have been a straightforward order.

I did express my frustration, hoping for clarification, but instead of resolving the confusion, he went ahead and placed the order without addressing the concerns. This left me feeling that the order wasn’t fully understood.

In the end, we received three orders with three side dishes (one curly fries and two onion rings), which felt excessive for just two people. It resulted in additional charges—two taco sets with the same flavours (42), plus an extra order of onion rings (6). It seemed like a simple misunderstanding that could’ve been avoided with clearer communication and attention to detail.

We later learned that mixing flavours in one taco order is not allowed, contradicting what we were initially told. This inconsistency was disappointing and led to both confusion, extra cost and extra food that we could not take away as we were going to the cinema thereafter.

First of all Delicious appetizers. The wings are nice but what stopping it from being the best is the sauce it taste goods but it feels watery and it doesn’t stick to the chicken so some parts are dry and plane and others have sauce. Regarding the serves there is a disconnect between lower and upper floors. When i wanted to get a refill the waiters told me he doesn’t know if he can Because theres no machine on the upper level. I said check and tell me he left me hanging for 3 mins and served others and left us with no drink and then i called him he said sorry im busy I had to grab our drinks and go down for a refill Weird behavior. I had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant! The outside seating area is wonderfully spacious, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food was nothing short of delicious 🙏🏻🙏🏻
