Read moreRiyadh Season 2024 has once again transformed the city into a hub of entertainment and cultural experiences, with Boulevard World and Boulevard City standing out as premier attractions.
Boulevard World offers visitors a global journey through its numerous pavilions, each representing different countries and regions. This season introduces five new pavilions: Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Africa, and Courchevel. The Saudi Arabia pavilion showcases the Kingdom’s rich heritage across 13 distinctive regions, featuring traditional markets and authentic cuisine. The Africa pavilion provides wildlife encounters and vibrant music, while the Courchevel pavilion brings a slice of the French Alps to Riyadh, complete with a ski school and après-ski dining.
Boulevard City continues to captivate visitors with its diverse entertainment offerings. A highlight this season is the “Harry Potter: A Riyadh Season Adventure,” a pop-up experience that immerses fans in iconic locations from the Harry Potter films, including the Great Hall and Quidditch Pitch. Visitors can also shop at wizarding locations like Ollivander’s Wand Shop and enjoy treats at the Three Broomsticks Food Hall.
While these attractions have been widely praised for their immersive experiences, there have been concerns regarding ticket availability. Many visitors have reported that standard tickets often show as unavailable, leading them to opt for higher-priced experience tickets. This situation has caused frustration among attendees who feel compelled to pay more to access these popular events.
Parking and Entry/Exit Management
One of the recurring complaints is the lack of adequate parking facilities. With the massive crowds visiting these attractions, finding a parking spot has become a frustrating ordeal for many. Additionally, the entry and exit management at these venues has been described as poorly organized, leading to long waits and traffic congestion. This not only affects the excitement of arriving but also dampens the mood after a long day of exploring.
These challenges are significant, considering the premium ticket pricing and the event’s global appeal. Addressing these concerns would enhance the experience and solidify Riyadh Season’s reputation as a world-class event. Despite these issues, the attractions themselves remain a major draw, showcasing Riyadh as a global entertainment hub.
In summary, Riyadh Season 2024 offers a plethora of remarkable attractions that provide unique and memorable experiences. However, the challenges related to ticket availability and pricing have somewhat marred the experience for...
Read moreI'll be reviewing my visit to the Riyadh Boulevard. Unfortunately I didn't get to visit the other zones.
It's a lovely event. First of its kind in Saudi Arabia, definitely worth checking out. This will definitely be giving Dubai Expo competition in the future. It's beautiful and has a very pleasant atmosphere.
My only gripe with the event were the prices. They're already a liiiittle overpriced on the weekdays. Do NOT make the mistake of going there on a weekend. Everything's price is doubled on weekends (Including Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and most things are not worth it.
The food restaurants are really nice, although again, a bit pricy. But they're well worth it as you get to taste authentic American cuisine. I'd heavily recommend you to get a Fat Bodega from Fat Sal's restaurant. It's 60 SAR but it'll fill your stomach up to the brim.
The concerts that play from time to time starting around 7 PM are really cool too. The big dancing fountain has some fixed timings during which it operates. You might wanna ask a cleaner there to know when it starts.
There's a looooot of Cafés there. They're all cozy, with warm yellow lights and classy jazzy music playing in the background. Some of them are raised above ground and give you a delightful view over events like the dancing fountain. You definitely wanna check some of these out if you're a coffee enthusiast. There's also some places where you can drink hookah lol.
You probably shouldn't visit if you're conservative. You'll hate the air of modernity and westernization around you.
Overall.. A really nice experience. There's nothing else like it in Saudi Arabia, so it's worth spending a bit of cash on. Don't go there being stingy. Bring a bit of cash with you, or else the event won't be nearly...
