Experience of Watching the Usyk vs. Fury Live Press Conference and Face-Off at Riyadh Boulevard
The experience of attending the Usyk vs. Fury live press conference and face-off at Riyadh Boulevard was nothing short of exhilarating. It was an event that combined the raw energy of two heavyweight champions with the vibrant and modern backdrop of Riyadh’s premier entertainment district. As a boxing enthusiast, being part of this event was a unique opportunity to witness the drama and spectacle that precedes one of the most anticipated fights in recent history.
Setting the Scene
Riyadh Boulevard, known for its cutting-edge architecture and bustling atmosphere, provided the perfect stage for this high-stakes encounter. The area was transformed into a veritable boxing hub, adorned with larger-than-life banners, high-definition screens playing highlights of past fights, and stalls selling merchandise. The venue thrummed with a palpable sense of anticipation as fans from all corners of the globe converged to witness the clash of two titans.
The Atmosphere
Upon arrival, the buzz in the air was infectious. Conversations filled the space as fans debated who would come out on top—Usyk, the disciplined and technically brilliant Ukrainian, or Fury, the flamboyant and unpredictable British giant. The crowd’s diversity was a testament to the global appeal of boxing, bringing together people of different cultures and backgrounds, united by their love for the sport.
The Press Conference
As the press conference began, the room was a cacophony of camera shutters and excited murmurs. Both fighters made their grand entrances, greeted by thunderous applause. Tyson Fury, with his towering presence and larger-than-life persona, immediately took command of the stage. His humorous jabs and confident declarations were met with cheers and laughter from the audience. In contrast, Oleksandr Usyk’s calm and composed demeanor provided a striking counterpoint. His responses were measured and focused, underscoring his reputation as a disciplined tactician.
The verbal sparring between the two was a highlight of the event. Fury’s bravado and Usyk’s quiet confidence created a dynamic that kept the audience riveted. Questions from the media ranged from training regimens to personal motivations, providing insights into the mindsets of both fighters. The tension and mutual respect were evident, setting the stage for the intense face-off that followed.
The Face-Off
The face-off was the pinnacle of the event. The atmosphere became electric as the two fighters approached each other. The crowd fell silent, the weight of the moment sinking in. Standing toe-to-toe, Fury’s height and imposing presence contrasted with Usyk’s solid, unyielding stance. Their eyes locked in a psychological battle, each trying to assert dominance without uttering a word. The intensity of the stare-down was a powerful reminder of the physical and mental demands of boxing.
Fan Interaction and Community
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the event was the interaction among fans. The shared excitement created a sense of community, with strangers exchanging predictions and stories. Merchandise stalls did brisk business, selling everything from t-shirts and caps to autographed gloves and posters. For many, these items would serve as lasting mementos of an unforgettable experience.
Some fans were fortunate enough to secure autographs and photos with the fighters, adding a personal touch to the event. These moments of connection between fans and their idols highlighted the accessibility and human side of the sport, often overshadowed by the glamour and intensity of the competition.
Conclusion
Watching the Usyk vs. Fury live press conference and face-off at Riyadh Boulevard was an unforgettable experience, blending the thrill of boxing with the cultural richness of Riyadh. It was a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and anticipation, offering a glimpse into the world of professional boxing and the personalities that define it....

Boulevard 2030 in Riyadh is hands down one of the most exciting and vibrant places I’ve visited in the city. It’s more than just an entertainment zone—it’s a full-on experience that reflects the modern spirit of Saudi Arabia while embracing culture, creativity, and fun for all ages.
From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with a lively atmosphere, well-organized walkways, beautiful lighting displays, and themed areas that are each unique and photo-worthy. The layout is smartly planned, with plenty of signage and guides around, so even if it's your first time, you’ll never feel lost. The vibe is always upbeat, with music playing and people enjoying every corner, whether they're families, couples, or groups of friends.
What I loved most about Boulevard 2030 is the diversity of activities. Whether you’re looking for entertainment, dining, or just a great place to walk and enjoy the night, this place has it all. There are live shows, performances, gaming zones, cinemas, and themed attractions that change seasonally—so each visit feels a little different and new. If you're into events or celebrity sightings, it's not rare to catch some well-known figures performing or making an appearance.
The restaurants and cafes are also impressive. You’ll find a mix of international chains and high-end dining options alongside cozy local spots that serve delicious food. Whether you're in the mood for a casual burger or gourmet Middle Eastern cuisine, you’re guaranteed to find something that suits your taste. Many of the venues have outdoor seating, which makes for a great ambiance, especially during the cooler months.
Another standout is the cleanliness and security. Despite how busy the place gets, everything is kept spotless and very well maintained. The staff and security teams are helpful, friendly, and ensure that everyone is safe and having a good time.
The parking and access can get a bit tricky during peak hours or weekends, so I recommend either arriving early or using one of the transport apps to avoid the hassle. But once you’re inside, it’s worth every bit of the effort. There are also shuttle services and valet options that make things more convenient.
Overall, Boulevard 2030 is a fantastic representation of how much Riyadh has evolved. It’s modern, dynamic, and inclusive—a true landmark of the city’s vision for the future. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, it’s a place you should definitely experience. I’ve been there multiple times, and each time leaves me with great memories.
Highly recommended for a day or night...
Read moreWe went there on Eid ul Fitr 2023. And they provided offer on the entrance fee, it was FREE. We reached there at 3.30 pm, but they informed us that it opens at 4 pm. It is a world of city with lots of shops like Dior, El & London, H&M, Safora, Lacoste, Sketchers etc in the area they name as Square 1. Amazing ambience while u walk along the city. And u then reach a place known as Garden. This is an arena with fountain in the middle with lots of Eateries surrounding it in a oval shaped building. You got to have shops like Texas, New York fries, Subway, Herfy, Kudu, Shawarmer, Dominoes etc , all popular fast food chains. The price for foods provided are the same as in their outlets. Then u have an area called studios where u can find theatre (Arabic Dramas) , Movie theatre, and few game zones for kids (Takenda) , Crystal Maze , Carting etc. Everything paid separately for each. Avalanche is yet another region, but wasn't functioning that day. It has got avalanche sliding area and a dome, though it was dry that day. Music region is where u get to find a place where they Play live music. And it's surrounded by lots of restaurants like half million, Dunkin Donuts, Layali Iraqiya, Albait Baytak etc. Finally we have a Fountain area where u can see the musical fountain (though not synchronised well to the played music) which is an amazing feast to our eyes. The fountain area is surrounded by restaurants like Hon Beirut, Petit cafe, Layali Adan , Grand cafe , Kabana , Kasbah etc.. We were waiting for the fireworks for Eid. Enquired to 3 to 4 staffs inside and most of them told to wait near the fountain region to get the best view. But to our amazement and dismay the fireworks were displayed at the square 1 . The information given by the security and staffs were false. Sad 😔. Overall the place is a must visit to enjoy the ambience of a huge city with most of the food and shopping cultures. Not the least Boulevard World is a different place near the Boulevard City (Simply Opposite ) where u can access it with the same ticket with a cable car. But it's currently closed for the time being and don't really know when it's...
