From the moment I stepped into this charming spot, I knew I was in for something special. The warm, inviting atmosphere felt like a perfect blend of comfort and modern style—dim lighting, cozy seating, and a playlist that struck just the right tone. Whether you're out for a casual lunch or a celebratory dinner, this place knows how to set the mood.
The food? Absolutely top-notch. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and bursting with flavor. From the perfect taste of Shrimp truffles , spicy buttermilk chicken karaage, wagyu sirloin, it was clear the kitchen takes pride in every plate. The ingredients tasted fresh and the presentation was beautiful without being overdone. Even the desserts—Chotto matte signature selection—were unforgettable.
What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the people. The staff was genuinely welcoming and attentive without ever being intrusive. They offered great menu suggestions, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. There's a sense of passion here—from the chefs to the servers—that you can feel in every interaction.
In short, this restaurant is a rare find: great food, great people, and a great place to enjoy both. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s well worth a visit.

Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at chotto matte from start to end: The valet’s first reaction was to push us away when we came with our car. Upon knowing we had reservation, then he was slightly more welcoming. whole initially first impressed with the decor, seatings were very tight (so no privacy as such) you would think a so called “prestigious” restaurant would have waiters that understand basic English and more attentive. We had to explain that we want a fizzy cocktail by saying “should be coke like” “bubbly”, “bubbles in the drink”. But despite this, we got a drink that was made out of juice. The manager was kind enough to change it. The water glasses weren’t removed and we were given spoon & fork to eat beef, and wooden chopsticks (similar to what you would get out of a fast food chain). Not the attention you would expect when you are forking out SAR 500+. the crispy salmon sushi (emphasis on “crispy”, was not crispy at all and it was rather stale. It was awful in taste. We even had to ask for ginger and wasabi for our sushi. Despite complaining, the chef was adamant that the sushi was good (surprised by this defensive response) the lady manager was very kind to listen to our feedback and tried to make up with a nice dessert. It did allow us to leave in a better mood. But overall the experience is not up to the standard, especially when its pricey. We’ve had better experience in other japanese restaurant such as nozomi. They...
