Jones The Grocer - KAFD — Restaurant in Municipality of Al Shamal

I’ve had two negative experiences during my visits to the Jones KAFD branch, and unfortunately, the overall customer service has consistently been disappointing. Incorrect Order Handling: On one occasion, the waiter mistakenly brought a dish of French fries to our table, which we assumed was ours and began eating. Shortly after, the waiter realized the mistake, took the dish from our table, and served it to the correct table—even after we informed him that we had already touched the food. This was not only unhygienic but showed a lack of care. Steak Order Mishandling: We ordered a medium-well steak but were served one that was almost rare. When we requested a replacement, it took over 40 minutes and the order was still not ready. We ultimately canceled the order and left the restaurant, and the staff showed little concern about the situation.

Additionally, the service here is consistently slow and inattentive. On one visit, I requested tissues, which took 10 minutes and two reminders to receive. On another occasion, I waited the same amount of time for a simple Coke.

As working professionals in KAFD, our time is valuable, and we expect prompt and attentive service. Sadly, Jones at KAFD has not met these expectations. I won’t be returning to this branch...

First time I tried it was in Dubai, and I was fascinated with the menu type of food.

Food quality is one of the best ingredients made with love. Taste is delicious and fresh. I have tried multiple dishes in this branch like their steak, salads, drinks (good coffee and hibiscus drink with pomegranate), and other main dishes. It is my type of food colorful, fusion of flavor, and hearty.

Location: I like spending time in KAFD. It is convenient and alot to do around, available parking lots, and easy to access.

Staff: the friendliest and most professional. I like chatting with them and taking their recommendations.

Portion of food is a little bit too much. So, please do not waste and share food or take it to go with you.

Price: is not low and not everyone would like to pay that amount.

Atmosphere: I think it fits everything (fancy, casual, studying, business lunch, family…) it gives you all of those vibes.

I had the pleasure of visiting Jones The Grocer recently, and it left a lasting impression! The ambiance was charming, with comfortable seating and soft, soothing music in the background. The staff (Especially Jinna!) were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. The menu at Jones is a true culinary delight. I tried their iced caramel latte, and a bunch of different desserts, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, showcasing the cafe's commitment to quality.

What truly sets this cafe apart is the attention to detail. From the beautifully presented dishes to the latte art on my coffee, it's evident that they take pride in their craft.
