Cipriani is great restaurant and people in it are passionate just like Italians. I have seen this ten of times in every branch around the world, except this awful one in Riyadh.
See the difference between the other branches and Riyadh branch.
The beef they made in Riyadh Cipriani is so awful and happened for the 3td time. You can’t even cut it with a knife and look very ugly made or the chef hate him self working in the restaurant, I don’t know.
Even the staff when they serve meals, you can tell their smile is too fake, and when you tell them about any observation they pretend to listen and do the opposite 😂
The service staff are lacking of communication skills, and I doubt they know what it look likes to work In Cipriani. I paid almost 1500 SR for two people and I hoped to through in the streets instead of paying Riyadh Cipriani.
Even though, we all know it in Saudi Arabia, restaurants never asks for tips, only in Riyadh Cipriani they will ask as a package with destroying the brand name and reputation 😂.
I would tell Cipriani’s management, saudi people deserve the same service and quality in dubai and Istanbul. Please close the restaurant, its really bad for your reputation otherwise enhance your service and quality.
The only good things in the restaurant are the deserts and the clients service table in entrance’s door.
“I will never visit them again” This is my impression every time I visit, as i visited them...
Read moreI’ve visited several Cipriani locations across the Gulf and always had an amazing experience — until I visited the one in my own country. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing.
To start with, the welcome at the door was warm and professional. They asked for my reservation and guided me to… the worst table in the restaurant — right next to the service area and the bar. It was noisy, with staff frequently passing by and speaking loudly, making it hard to enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff member in a dark suit who seemed to be in charge of our table made the experience even more uncomfortable. He kept looking at me in a strange, almost disgusted way — to the point that even my friend noticed and asked if something was wrong. It felt like we were being judged or looked down on for no clear reason.
What made things even worse was how the staff physically stood between our table and others, as if they were trying to “hide” us. It felt incredibly awkward and unwelcoming.
As for the service, I still left a 100 SAR tip on a 1000 SAR bill — a standard 10% — but the waiter was visibly unhappy with it. That reaction was honestly ungrateful and unprofessional. Tipping is optional, not an obligation, and I found the attitude quite inappropriate.
I expected Cipriani to deliver a high-end experience as they usually do elsewhere in the region, but sadly this branch failed to meet even the basic standards of...
Read moreCipriani in Riyadh offers a refined yet unpretentious dining experience. The restaurant has a clean, elegant design that reflects its Italian roots without feeling overly formal. It’s a comfortable setting for both business dinners and relaxed evening meals, with soft lighting and tasteful decor creating a calm atmosphere.
The service was smooth and professional. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the overall flow of the meal was well-paced. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, and the environment felt well-managed from start to finish.
As for the food, it was thoughtfully prepared and nicely presented. Everything was well-seasoned, and the quality of the ingredients was clear. The flavors were subtle and balanced, staying true to traditional Italian style. The portions were reasonable and left us satisfied without feeling heavy.
It’s the kind of place where attention to detail makes a difference, even if it’s not trying to impress with extravagance.
The only drawback and the reason behind the 4-star rating is the prices, which are on the higher end and not in line with the benchmark.
Overall, Cipriani delivers a consistent and high-quality dining experience. It’s a reliable choice for Italian cuisine in Riyadh. But always consider it is...
