I recently visited Operation Falafel, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The food quality was far from what I expected, and it certainly did not match the middle-scale standard I had heard about. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, they were completely shattered.
To begin with, I didn't receive what I had ordered. It's frustrating when you're eagerly waiting for a specific dish and end up with something entirely different. This lack of attention to detail was highly disappointing and left me feeling dissatisfied.
Moreover, the taste of the food was unpleasant. It had an off-putting smell that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. The flavors were not well-balanced, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory. It's disheartening to see a restaurant that claims to serve quality food fail to deliver even a basic level of taste.
What made matters worse was the lack of any staff members present to address the issue. I wanted to express my concerns and seek a resolution, but there was no one available to listen or assist. It's unacceptable for a restaurant not to have any staff members readily accessible to handle customer complaints and provide a satisfactory experience.
I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall dining experience at Operation Falafel. As it stands now, I cannot see myself returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
UPDATE I would like to express my gratitude to the management of Operation Falafel Company for their prompt response to the feedback provided, especially Mr. Roy, who kindly communicated and explained all the matters related to their experience at the restaurant. He insisted on meeting me very soon and at the earliest possible time to discuss the causes of the incident and how to ensure the quality and presentation...
Read moreI have had operation falafel in other branches and I love their food A LOT… but I was disappointed by the food in this branch. The staff is very friendly and there’s no issue in the service. However, we came for the new crispy pita chicken shawerma. We were told they are out of chicken shawerma. We asked if we could get some other chicken in the crispy bread, they said no. We asked for the crispy bread by itself but it was a no again. We ordered Butter Chicken Shawerma, Tikka Shawerma, and Beef Crispy and Banana Pudding. The butter chicken shawerma had a strong burnt flavor with cardamom. Not pleasant! The tikka shawerma was way too saucy. The Beef crispy pita was great. Banana pudding was out of stock, so we got the peaches and cream and that was NOT a good dessert. There were 3 tiny pieces of peaches. The cream tasted off and the cookie crumble tasted as though it had been refrigerated for a long time. As always, the staff were very friendly. They were apologetic however the food was a disappointment...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant around 4 years ago, we really loved it that time. After all these years we really were looking forward to have our dinner again in this restaurant but unfortunately we were disappointed. The amount of food didn’t reflect the price we paid, in another way they became very greedy. The shawarma sandwich was to small and the meat was so little, the orange juice was too small too, it may took to pieces of orange and they charged 17 S.R. and so is the carrot juice . The fattoush salad was made of maybe 2 leaves of lettuce and half tomatoe and half of cucumber and they charged 22 S.R. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anybody especially if they were really hungry because the food wouldn’t be enough. Imagine you pay 74 riyals for 2 small shawarma sandwiches and a small bowl of fattoush salad and 2 small cups of juice and you’re not...
